Dancing with the Stars unveiled its Season 17 cast Wednesday morning on Good Morning America. This season’s dynamic lineup of stars — including a sitcom legend, a reality mega-star, a football champion and two teen heartthrobs – will perform for the first time on live national television with their professional partners during the two-hour season premiere of Dancing with the Stars, Monday, September 16 on the ABC Television Network.

The 17th season of Dancing with the Stars will see a much needed revamp in the shows format; transitioning from two episodes a week to a one night, two-hour format. The weekly episode will feature competitive dance, dynamic group performances and musical guests, all building to a climatic elimination. Each week viewers can vote for their favorite dancing performance. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges’ scores from that night with the public votes from the previous week.

The cast includes Mary Tyler Moore Show alum Valerie Harper, who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year; actress, former talk-show host and ex-Scientologist Leah Remini; Glee star Amber Riley; former NFL superstar (and Super Bowl winner)-turned-analyst Keyshawn Johnson; Bill Nye (Bill Nye the Science Guy); actor heartthrobs Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars, Days of our Lives, Army Wives) and Corbin Bleu (High School Musical, One Life to Live); comedian Bill Engvall; singer-turned-tv personality Christina Milian; reality star Snooki (Jersey Shore, Snooki & J-Woww); Jack Osbourne; and Saved by the Bell alum and Showgirls star Elizabeth Berkley.

In addition to the new contestants, Dancing with the Stars also added three new professional dancers to its cast — Sasha Farber, Emma Slater and Tyne Stecklein.
