‘Arrow’ Preview: Officer Lance’s Past Comes After Laurel

When we last saw Oliver, he’d gotten himself into an extreme predicament on Arrow. Laurel had set a trap for the vigilante and Oliver was surrounded by a SWAT team. Is this the end of the line for the would-be hero?

That seems pretty unlikely. Either Oliver will find a way to free himself or as one of our sharp-eyed readers pointed out, it’s quite possible the entire sequence is a dream, probably Laurel’s, but it could be Oliver’s too since he’s bummed about his lady love thinking his alter ego is the bad guy.

Either way, Laurel will be the one who finds herself in danger during the next episode, “Broken Dolls.” A criminal that her father put away broke out of prison and his MO is torturing and killing women. Team Arrow’s plan to capture him using Felicity as bait fails and Laurel ends up being kidnapped.

Meanwhile, Thea and Oliver are stunned when Laurel’s new boss decides to seek the death penalty in Moira’s case and Arrow asks Roy to help him track down the canary.
