‘Reign’ November Sweeps Preview: Outsiders could put an end to Mary’s alliance with France

November sweeps officially start tonight and Reign is ready to get in the game when a new prince comes to court and offers Mary something she might not be able to refuse. Will the young royal break her engagement to Francis and side with Portugal in order to protect her country?

It’s definitely something she’s thinking about and Francis is not okay with it. But will his feelings change when his ex-lover returns to French Court? Where does Bash fit into all of this? Check out the following official preview released by The CW.

“Kissed” airing Oct. 31

MARY CONSIDERS ENDING HER ENGAGEMENT TO FRANCIS — When England’s armies threaten Scotland’s borders, Mary (Adelaide Kane) asks King Henry (Alan Van Sprang) for help, but he refuses. Tomas (guest star Manolo Cardona), the son of the King of Portugal, proposes marriage to Mary, promising her aid against England if she’ll abandon Francis and turn to Tomas instead.

“Hearts and Minds” airing Nov. 7

MARYAND FRANCIS GROW CLOSER AMIDST THE CHAOS —  Mary (Adelaide Kane) has to decide if she is willing to lie and sentence a man to death in order to have King Henry (Alan Van Sprang) let her out of her engagement to Prince Francis (Toby Regbo).  Meanwhile, Francis and Bash (Torrance Coombs) are suspicious of Tomas’ (guest star Manolo Cardona) true intentions which will ultimately lead to a confrontation with disastrous results.

“A Chill in the Air” airing Nov. 14

FRANCIS REUNITES WITH AN EX, CAUSING MARY TO TURN TO BASH —  When Olivia (guest star Yael Grobglas), who is an ex-lover of Francis’ (Toby Regbo), arrives at the castle, she brings the dangers of the woods with her.  Mary (Adelaide Kane) seeks comfort in Bash (Torrance Coombs).   Meanwhile, Bash is threatened by heretics for interfering with a sacred blood rite.

Reign airs Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW.
