Revenge returns tonight with the final episode leading up to the big wedding next week. ABC recently released some gorgeous photos from “Exodus” that look like the wedding album of a young couple in love and happy on their big day, but of course as fans of the show, we all know better.

The real drama isn’t the wedding itself, but what happens after, on the honeymoon cruise that will lead to Emily being on the wrong end of a gun. Since the season began, we’ve been speculating as to who would shoot the bride and why and thanks to E! Online, we now know the shooter will be one of these four people: Charlotte, Daniel, Jack or Nolan.
But the question still remains who and why so we’ve got a few theories on the suspects and we’d also like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Check out what we have to say and then hit the comments with your predictions.
Charlotte – We’re starting with her because she seems like the least likely candidate. Sure, she’s developed an unnatural hatred for Emily this season (we still don’t really know why), but the teenager is more likely to throw a tantrum and whine at Emily until she jumps overboard just to get away from her than Charlotte is to pick up a gun and shoot her. But it would be a really shocking twist if she did so that’s one vote in the pro column.
Daniel – He was our original suspect when the season started. Emily has been pretty terrible to him and Daniel has turned into more of a Grayson over the years. It would make Conrad proud if Daniel shot his not-so-loving wife and then inherited all her money so he could live a happy life with his sudden true love Sara. However, if Daniel still believes Emily is pregnant, we have a hard time believing he would kill his baby. Besides, there’s a big difference between cheating and picking up a gun and murdering someone so we don’t know if Daniel is quite that much of a Grayson.
Jack – Emily’s plan is to fake her death and run off with Aiden, leaving Victoria to take the fall. So it’s possible that Jack is the one helping her stage the crime scene. We’re guessing he’s not invited to the wedding so it would be easy for him to stowaway (see what we did there?) on the yacht and wait for the right moment. But it seems unlikely Emily would ask him to help so there’s always the chance that he’s a lot more broken than we’ve realized and he wants to kill her to avenge Amanda. It would be pretty poetic since she died on her honeymoon cruise. But we doubt the show wants to make Jack that dark.
Nolan – He could be the real person Emily asks to stage the shooting. He’s been working with her from the beginning and we’re assuming he’s invited on the family honeymoon cruise since he’s the only person Emily is close to (besides Aiden and Jack). Maybe this whole thing has been Emily’s plan going off without a hitch from the start. Nolan shoots her, Emily falls overboard and Aiden is waiting in the water to get her to safety. That’s the only way we can believe Nolan is on the other end of the gun.
