‘Once Upon a Time’ Photo Preview: Is Storybrooke the ‘New Neverland’?

ABC/Jack Rowand

Now that Henry has been rescued and his heart is firmly back in his chest, it’s time for the heroes (and villains) to return to Storybrooke on the next episode of Once Upon a Time. But viewers are aware of something that our favorite characters haven’t discovered yet: Pan has one upped them again and managed to switch bodies with Henry before Rumple trapped him in Pandora’s Box.

ABC recently released the episode stills for “The New Neverland.” Hook’s ship has safely brought everyone back and we get to see several happy reunions: Rumple and Belle (and Neal!), Wendy, Michael and John, the dwarfs and Snow and Charming. Even Ariel and Eric are on hand to witness the happy celebration.

But anyone who takes a close look at Henry’s face will see that there’s more going on with him than meets the eye. So far only Felix knows that it’s actually Pan, but we’re guessing it’s not going to take long for everyone else to find out. Will Pan rule over Storybrooke or is there another way to stop him once and for all?

Once Upon a Time airs Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c on ABC.
