If you are anything like us, you have not yet regained control of your emotions after Sunday’s wonderful, flashback heavy episode. With “Dramatics, Your Honor” on deck waiting to unleash the shows “most shocking moment ever,” culminating this three episode event, it appears we won’t have the opportunity to do so.
Though CBS has released promotional photos for the upcoming episode, they do not reveal anything at all. Therefore, we viewers are left to our own devices; to have anxiety issues over all of the possible outcomes we continue to create in our minds.
What we do know:
As part of his investigation into the election rigging, Nelson Dubeck calls on Alicia to participate in a deposition. In an effort to protect her own interests, Alicia enlists Cary as her legal representation. We know, as we saw in the promo for this episode, that Mr. Dubeck inquires about her relationship with Will, referring to them as lovers. So, we are left to wonder how she responds, how Mr. Dubeck is made aware of this and why he felt it necessary to bring this up.
He’s been MIA for the last two episodes, but, Peter Florrick is back in this Sunday’s episode. You would think, with this three episode event revolving around HIS supposed scandal, that we would see more of him. Alas, we have not seen him since Alicia told him to “fix this.” What brings him back to the canvas now? Where has he been?
Will continues his difficult defense of Jeffrey Grant. You remember him. In episode 5×07, he was pulled over for a DUI but then charged with murder? This case pits Will against a new prosecutor. Why is this new guy so significant? Also…what impact will his newfound “truce” with Alicia have on Will and his decisions?
There’s a moment. The most shocking ever for this series. I pop anxiety pills as I try to figure out what it could possibly be. Running theory after theory; scenario after scenario; what if after what if; through my head. I can honestly say that I have no idea what the Kings have in store for us.
While I am looking forward to this with butterflies in my stomach, I’m insanely curious as to what everyone else is thinking. So, check out the photo gallery and please hit that comment box to share with us what you think is happening on Sunday!
The Good Wife airs Sunday, March 23 at 9/8c on CBS.
