Another day, another return to General Hospital! Brandon Barash returns to screens this December as mob prince Johnny Zacchara.
“Hold on tight GH fans because things are going to get absolutely crazy good in Port Charles in the coming months,” executive producer Frank Valentini said in a statement Thursday. “We are so happy to have Brandon back and with Johnny Z’s unexpected arrival in Port Charles that can only spell one thing: t-r-o-u-b-l-e.”
Brandon Barash originated the role of Johnny Zacchara in 2007. The actor departed the soap in 2013, but returned for a short stint at the end of last year. Johnny was last seen in February 2015 after fleeing town thanks to some help from friend Maxie (played by Barash’s wife Kirsten Storms).
“For all the devoted fans and new ones alike, it’s the perfect time to jump in to GH with compelling, engrossing storylines and just the right mix of nostalgia,” Valentini added.
