Daytime Emmy season is upon us! The road to the 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards starts now; with the reveal of the pre-nominations for the acting categories. Which stars will advance to the next round?
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) in cooperation with The Television Academy (ATAS), today announced the Drama Performer Pre-Nominations for the 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards.
The stars below received the highest number of votes and will advance to the blue ribbon screening round, scheduled to begin on February 22, 2016, which will determine both nominees and recipients for Lead and Supporting categories. Nominees for Younger categories proceed directly to the final nomination round. All nominations will be announced on Thursday, March 24, 2016.
The Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Los Angeles, CA.
The actors pre-nominated must now submit a reel up to 20 minutes in total running time of clips from up to two episodes It may consist of any clips from up to two episodes (as aired – no montages) from the 2015 calendar year.

Same here I was hoping that Melody Thomas Scott was being nominated but she got snubbed again this year but otherwise I am rooting for Doug Davidson.
