Soap star Ashley Jones and husband Joel Henricks are expecting their first child in May! Ashley Jones, known for her soap roles on The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, confirmed the news in an exclusive interview with People Magazine.

“Becoming a mother has been a lifelong dream of mine. It seems surreal that it’s happening now,” says the actress. “Although life as we know it will forever change, Joel and I can’t wait to meet this baby.”
Her husband has a 3 1/2 year old son, Huck, from a previous relationship. She says her stepson is excited to be a big brother and asks her every couple of days, “Is the baby still in your tummy?”
Jones says she’s feeling “amazingly well” during her pregnancy, admitting that other than an occasional late night, she’s been blessed with a relatively complaint free experience.
Though her due date is two months away, that hasn’t stopped the actress from continuing to work. She currently appears on ABC’s General Hospital as Parker, a professor embroiled messy situation with student Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth), and could get even messier should Kristina’s illicit advances become public.
Her next appearance is set for March 22.
