Last week I ran a not-so-blind item in my “Down the Road Source Preview” about an upcoming special episode of NBC’s Days of our Lives‘ centered on Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso). Cue the jokes about every episode being centered on Hope, right? Anyway, I did some digging around and found out some more details on the upcoming episode.

The Hope episode will air Wednesday, June 8. The only description for the episode is “Hope show. Hope turns to her past to help her through an emotional time.”

You’ve probably already know that Andrew Masset was returning as the villainous Larry Welch. He will indeed appear in the June 8 episode but he’s not the only one. I’m hearing Joseph Mascolo (Stefano DiMera) and Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) will also make guest appearances. Sources also tell me a new actor was tapped to play a pivotal emotional character that will certainly bring viewers (and Hope) to tears.

It’s going to be one not to miss!

  1. Some of you fans get a grip. Hope is not a criminal. If you stopped watching, what are you doing commenting? I will always be a fan, that won’t change. I just have a feeling this soap will come to an end soon. The so call fans weren’t tru fans at all. They only care about living in the past, they don’t like changes. I like changes, changes are good.

  2. I am happy that KA is getting time on air (more than others) however when you work alongside the likes of Galen’s version of Rafe your character is bound to be un-recognisable for years on end. I have no doubt, Bo and or Zach appear to Hope in her Dream to make sure the audience is aware that Rafe is the Man. (Can’t stand him, why isn’t this character/so called actor that overstayed his welcome still on Days?

  3. Then wouldn’t you be happier if you moved on? I mean I get that you’re upset about Will, etc. so am I but rather than continuing to read the articles and comment that you don’t care anymore over and over just move forward and spend time doing something you like.

  4. Meh. Higley/Griffith destroyed this show and turned Hope into a pathetic criminal. I stopped watching last fall after Will was killed off and the gay characters were excluded from the 50th anniversary. I couldn’t care less about the travesty this show has become.

  5. Glad that Freddie Smith will be back this summer as Sonny and on contract.

  6. I am so ready to see this episode dedicated to Hope.

  7. Don’t we see her enough. Every day. Why more. I like her but…………

  8. That’s what I’m thinking. Zach and others will be in her dream.

  9. Wow! How exciting Kristian. I can’t wait to see it. Loving the storyline with you and Rafe. You guys have perfect chemistry on Days. Keep up the good work. You and Deidre are my favorite veteran actors on the show.

  10. When do we get a Maggie or Vic centered epi??

  11. Zack, maybe?

  12. I agree. They need a big story to capture our attention. I fast forward through half the show. Sooooo boring. And the chad and Ciara thing is disgusting

  13. The show better do something, because its pretty boring right now.
