‘Shadowhunters’ Casts ‘Humans’ Alum Will Tudor as Sebastian

Shadowhunters has cast Will Tudor (Humans) in the recurring role of Sebastian to be introduced later this year.

The official website announced the casting. Described as “charming, brilliant, and highly educated,” Sebastian is a Shadowhunter with extraordinary fighting skills who strikes up a friendship with one of the show’s main characters and comes to the New York Institute as a result. Fans of The Mortal Instruments novels know just how important Sebastian is to the furthering of various storylines.

Tudor will begin airing in the latter half of the season two, slated to air later this year (Freeform is known for splitting its season in two pairs to allow for continuous airing). “I’m so excited to be here,” says Tudor in a special video to fans. “Everyone has been so, so welcoming. I’m having an absolute blast. The scripts are looking brilliant.”

Executive producer Todd Slavkin told TVLine the show put their own spin on the character. “As we’ve done with all the episodes you’ve seen, we’ve always had our own spin on everything, and Sebastian is no different.”

Tudor’s past credits include Game of Thrones and Mr. Selfridge.
