Nominations for the 2019 Writers Guild Awards were announced December 6, 2018. The WGA awards recognize outstanding achievement in television, new media, news, radio/audio, and promotional writing during 2018.Winners will be honored at the 2019 Writers Guild Awards on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at concurrent ceremonies in Los Angeles and New York City.
Daytime dramas were among the nominees, with NBC’s Days ofour Lives and ABC’s General Hospital earning nominations for the 2019 ceremony. CBS’ The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful received no nominations.
