‘General Hospital’ Celebrates the Holidays with Themed Thanksgiving, Christmas Episodes

ABC is the home for unforgettable holiday programming as the network celebrates the joy of the season. Long-running soap opera General Hospital is among the series to feature holiday episodes.

Airing Wednesday, November 27: This Thanksgiving, while those in Port Charles reflect with gratitude on their many blessings, surprises both warm and shocking sweep through the town. The Quartermaines once again attempt a traditional celebration. Finn (Michael Easton) celebrates his first holiday with his daughter, and Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) bask in the joys of their burgeoning family.

Airing Monday, December 23: The residents of Port Charles are reminded of the true meaning of the holiday season in this year’s Dickensian twist.

It is nice to see these themed episodes promoted ahead of time. Looking forward to what General Hospital’s new head writers, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor have in store for fans.

General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Episodes are also available for on-demand viewing at and Hulu.
