This week was Netflix Geeked Week, a virtual event where Netflix announced premiere dates, new series, debuted new trailers, offered table reads, interviews and more! There was so much news coming out of the event, here we’ll look at some of the best to come out of the event.
Day 1
Shadow and Bone, Netflix’s new sci-fi series based off of the book series of the same name was renewed for a second season! Season 2 will consist of 8 episodes, the same as season 1. The show did a great job combining the Shadow and Bone book series with the Six of Crows book series. Having read the Grisha trilogy, but having not read either Six of Crows books, they were probably my favorite part of the series.
Lupin Part 2 sneak peek. Part 2 is out today!
Vikings: Valhalla, the spinoff of History’s Vikings series, shared a behind the scenes look at the all new series.
Day 2
La Casa De Papel final season first look images.
Sweet Tooth blooper reel. Season 1 streaming now!
Locke & Key Season 2 is coming this October! Also a first look at the new season. The series was previously renewed for a third season. Can’t wait for this one to return!
Another Life Season 2 is coming this fall. The space drama’s first season premiered in 2019.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 episode titles were announced.
Cowboy Bebop the live action series will make its debut this fall.
The Sandman behind the scenes look. The comic adaptation is one of my most anticipated upcoming series. Read the comics if you get the chance. They’re incredible.
Day 3
Black Summer Season 2 sneak peek. Season 2 premieres June 17th.

Edens Zero is coming August 26.

Transformers: War for Cybertron Kingdom, is coming July 29th.

Day 5
Arcane first look. The League of Legends series is coming this fall.
The Cuphead Show based on the video game sneak peek. Plus Wayne Brady will be voicing King Dice.
Castlevania spinoff is coming starring Richter Belmont is coming.
Splinter Cell animated series first look.
Captain Laserhawk, A Blood Dragon Remix announced.
Resident Evil live action series cast announced.
The Witcher Season 2 Ciri first look teaser. The wait will be a bit longer but there is a Witcher convention coming July 9th and hopefully we will get more information then!
