HBO Max has set the premiere date for Season 3 of their DC Comics series Doom Patrol. They also released a first teaser for the upcoming new season. Season 3 of Doom Patrol returns September 23.
Fox has renewed Housebroken for Season 2. The animated comedy series follows a group of pets who attend a therapy group. Housebroken is Fox’s first fully owned animated series since selling 21st Century to Disney.
HGTV and Discovery+ have renewed hit series Home Town and its spinoff Home Town: Ben’s Workshop. Season 6 of Home Town will have 20 episodes. Home Town: Ben’s Workshop will have 10 episodes. The new episodes will air in 2022.
Peacock has set the date for Season 4 of their comedy series A.P. Bio. All 8 episodes will debut on the streamer September 2. Peacock also released the first trailer for the new season.
The Circle, Indian Matchmaking and The American Barbecue Showdown have all been renewed at Netflix. The Circle has been renewed for season 4 and season 5. Indian Matchmaking and The American Barbecue Showdown were both renewed for Season 2.
Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to play Morticia Addams in Netflix new series ‘Wednesday’. She joins Jenna Ortega as Wednesday Addams and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams.
Roku is set to add more of their Quibi acquisitions to their service. Most of the titles to be added had previously aired on Quibi, while a handful of them will be airing for the first time as they didn’t get released before Quibi shut down. These include competition series Squeaky Clean and Eye Candy, and docuseries What Happens in Hollywood. The 23 Roku Originals will join the service Friday.
Showtime’s comedy series Back to Life will return for Season 2 September 13 at 10. The trailer for the new season is out now.
