Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will be filling the host role on Jeopardy! through the end of the year. Following Mike Richard’s firing after one day of filming, Bialik took over the hosting role. As their schedules allow, Bialik and Jennings will share hosting duties instead of rotating celebrity guest hosts.

Netflix announced Jigsaw, a thrilling, action-packed heist drama series that takes an innovative nonlinear approach to storytelling in a way where viewers are in control. Spanning 24 years, Jigsaw centers around the largest heist ever attempted, and the vengeance, scheming, loyalties, and betrayals that surround it. It’s loosely inspired by the real-life story where seventy billion dollars in bonds went missing in downtown Manhattan during Hurricane Sandy. The cast includes Giancarlo Esposito, Paz Vega, Rufus Sewell, Tati Gabrielle, Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, Jai Courtney And Niousha Noor.

Paramount+ has ordered Canadian drama Skymed. The air ambulance rescue series is currently filming and will air next year.

CBS’s upcoming reality competition series The Activist is shifting its premise to a documentary series following backlash. “The Activist was designed to show a wide audience the passion, long hours, and ingenuity that activists put into changing the world, hopefully inspiring others to do the same. However, it has become apparent the format of the show as announced distracts from the vital work these incredible activists do in their communities every day. The push for global change is not a competition and requires a global effort. As a result, we are changing the format to remove the competitive element and reimagining the concept into a primetime documentary special (air date to be announced). It will showcase the tireless work of six activists and the impact they have advocating for causes they deeply believe in. Each activist will be awarded a cash grant for the organization of their choice, as was planned for the original show.”

HBO has set the date for season two of How To With John Wilson. The series follows Wilson on a mission of self-discovery, exploration and observation, filming the lives of his fellow New Yorkers while attempting to give everyday advice on six new deceptively simple topics. The docu-comedy series returns November 26.

Adult animated series Ten Year Old Tom is set to premiere on HBO Max September 30. We got our first look with the official trailer.
