Your TV Source Roundup: ‘Only Murders In The Building’ Renewed, ‘Bel-Air’ Cast Announced, The CW adds ‘Professionals’, ‘Locke & Key’ Premiere Date, ‘What If…?’ Mid-Season Trailer and More!

Hulu has renewed its hit new series Only Murders In The Building for season 2. The series stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as they try to solve a murder case with their own podcast. The current first season streams Tuesdays on Hulu. 

The full cast of Peacock’s upcoming The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air drama reboot series Bel-Air has been announced. Adrian Holmes will play Uncle Phil, Cassandra Freeman will play Aunt Vivian, Olly Sholotan will play Carlton Banks, Coco Jones will play Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar will play Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola will play Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones will play Jazz and Simone Joy Jones will play Lisa. Jabari Banks was previously announced as the new Will. The series has a two season order.

The CW has acquired an overseas series starring Brendan Fraser and Tom Welling. Professionals is a loose remake of the movie Soldiers of Fortune. The Scandinavian series will premiere at a later date on the CW. 

Netflix announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of Locke & Key. Season 2 will premiere October 22. The series has already been renewed for a third season.

Disney+ released a mid-season sneak peek at Marvel Studios’ What If…? today. The series airs Wednesdays. 

Netflix has ordered Partner Track, an adaptation of the 2013 novel of the same name by Helen Wan. Arden Cho is set to lead the 10 episode series.

Peacock has renewed The Amber Ruffin Show for a second season. The late night talk show will premiere its new season October 8. Episodes air Fridays. 

Netflix has ordered Grendel to series. Based off of a comic book series, it comes as a part of Netflix’s first look deal with Dark Horse Entertainment. The eight episode series will star Abubakr Ali in the lead role. 

HBO Max’s Love Life season 2 will premiere on the streamer October 28. The 10 episode season will air over the course of three weeks. William Jackson Harper’s character will be the main focus of the new season.

USA Network’s America’s Big Deal, the first ever live shoppable competition series from Joy Mangano premieres October 14. Each week entrepreneurs will take the stage for a three-minute product pitch and the person with the most live sales throughout the episode will win the chance to strike a life-changing deal with one of the show’s retail giants.

Apple released a sneak peek video of their new fall original series and films coming soon to Apple TV+. The teaser features first looks at Foundation, The Problem with Jon Stewart, Swagger, Finch, The Shrink Next Door, Invasion, Swan Song, Acapulco and more.
