CBS Sets Their Holiday Programming Lineup With Festive Movies and Specials

CBS is set to kick off the holiday season with festive original movies, specials and more!

CBS’s original special Adele One Night Only premieres November 14. The singer will talk about her life and her new album along with special performances of songs.

The long-standing and beloved seasonal family traditions will continue with animated friends Rudolph, Frosty, Robbie and Santa Claus. CBS will air Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer (November 22), Frosty The Snowman (November 26), and Frosty Returns (November 26).

The Thanksgiving Day Parade on CBS will be hosted by Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight and air November 25.

Robbie the Reindeer: Hooves of Fire, Robbie the Reindeer: Legends of the Lost Tribe and The Story of Santa Claus will air November 27.

A new CBS original concert special One Last Time: An Evening with Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will air November 28.

The 23rd Annual A Home For The Holidays at The Grove will air December 5.

Two original movies are set to premiere. First, A Christmas Proposal will premiere December 12. Christmas Takes Flight will premiere December 19.

A special holiday episode of The Price is Right will air at night December 22.

The 44th Annual Kennedy Center Honors returns for another celebration December 22.

December 24 will see A Holly Dolly Christmas and Kenny Rogers: All In For The Gambler re-air.

CBS will ring in the new year with an original music special New Years Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash December 31.

ADELE ONE NIGHT ONLY

New primetime special from global superstar Adele will preview her first new material in six years with premiere performances of several never-before-heard songs plus classic hits. The night will also feature an exclusive interview with Adele by Oprah Winfrey.

THE THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE ON CBS

9:00 AM-12:00 PM, ET/PT

Hosted by ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT’s Kevin Frazier and Keltie Knight, the Thanksgiving Day Parade returns to Sixth Avenue. This year’s special will take viewers on a tour of the most popular balloons and floats, including the iconic Santa Claus. Also, the show will feature musical performances and celebrity interviews.

ONE LAST TIME: AN EVENING WITH TONY BENNETT AND LADY GAGA

A new live concert special honoring the musical legacy and enduring friendship of Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga. Filmed at two sold-out shows at Radio City Music Hall in August 2021 to celebrate Bennett’s 95th birthday, the live concert brings together the two incredible entertainers performing duets and solo songs honoring their shared love of the Great American Songbook.

THE 23RD ANNUAL A HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS AT THE GROVE

The entertainment special features uplifting stories of adoption from foster care and raises awareness of this important social issue. The inspirational stories of these American families are enhanced with performances by some of today’s top artists (to be announced shortly), performing from The Grove in Los Angeles.
