Chance Chancellor is returning to Genoa City but he’ll have a new face! Daytime newcomer Conner Floyd has joined the cast of CBS’ The Young and the Restless as the new Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV.
Chance, the presumed dead husband of Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and family member to legacy characters Nina (Tricia Cast), Jill (Jess Walton) and Devon (Bryton James), has been missing in action since February when former portrayer Donny Boaz vacated the role. It’s been an eventful series of months in Genoa City, as Chance has missed the birth of his and Abby’s son Dominic while on assignment.
Though new to soap operas, Conner Floyd’s past credits include television movies, Malicious Motives, A Kiss on Candy Cane Lane and the upcoming Help Wanted.
Floyd first appears on Y&R later this month.
