NBC Sets Their Holiday Programming Lineup With an Abundance of Cheer

NBC is getting in the holiday spirit, announcing their upcoming holiday programming of specials and other shows.

A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving will air November 24 with highlights of memorable Thanksgiving sketches through the years.

The 95th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air Thanksgiving day, November 25 at 9 followed by the National Dog Show Presented By Purina at 12.

Holiday classic How The Grinch Stole Christmas will air November 26 at 8 followed by the Jimmy Fallon animated special 5 More Sleeps ‘Til Christmas at 8:30. Trolls Holiday in Harmony will air at 9.

The 89th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center special will air December 1 at 8 followed by a new special Kelly Clarkson Presents When Christmas Comes Around at 10 with special guests joining Kelly Clarkson.

NBC’s musical special Annie Live! is set to air December 2 from 8-11. The cast includes Harry Connick Jr., Nicole Scherzinger, Tituss Burgess, Jane Krakowski, Celina Smith as Annie and Taraji P. Henson.

The annual airing of It’s a Wonderful Life will air December 4 and also repeat again December 24.

Michael Bublé’s Christmas in the City is set to air December 6 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his Christmas album.

NBC’s Young Rock will have a special holiday episode December 15 at 8. Kenan will also air a holiday episode at 8:30. Mr. Mayor also will celebrate with a holiday themed episode at 9. A Very Chrisley Christmas will air at 9:30 and follow the Chrisley family as they try to save Christmas.

The L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth special returns December 16 at 8, showcasing the inspiring stories of 10 women whose tenacity and courage are leading to meaningful change in addressing society’s most pressing issues.

The musical movie Sing will get an airing December 17 at 8.

An airing of Illumination Presents: Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch will occur December 22 at 8.

Christmas Eve Mass will take place December 24 from 11:30-1:00 AM where viewers can watch the Pope Francis-led mass from St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome.

The Rose Parade’s New Year’s Celebration presented by Honda will air New Years Day January 1 from 11:30AM to 1:00 PM.
