Dancing with the Stars is back in the ballroom with an all-new celebrity cast. Season 35 premieres September 15 and 16 on ABC and Disney+. Tatyana Ali, Tyler Cameron, Giada De Laurentiis, Jenna Dewan, Ezra Frech, Amber Glenn, Taylor Hanson, Conner Leavitt, Sarah Jane Nader, Harry Shum Jr., Julia Stiles and Connor Wood join previously announced celebrities Maura Higgins, Ciara Miller, Jackson Olson and Guillermo Rodriguez. The pairs will be judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. Andy Richter will host ‘Dancing with the Stars Official Podcast’ debuting September 10 on Disney+ and hulu. The first-ever DWTS After Party, hosted by Robert Irwin, will air live September 16, at 10:00 p.m. on ABC and Disney+ and Streams Next Day on hulu.
Heidi Klum will return to America’s Got Talent as a guest judge next week. The former judge will fill in for Simon Cowell who is recovering from surgery. Kenan Thompson served as guest judge this week on the NBC series.
S.W.A.T. Exiles will premiere on Starz September 25. The S.W.A.T. spinoff series raises the stakes of the legacy series, introducing a bold new era. Series star and executive producer Shemar Moore, reprises his role as LAPD S.W.A.T. Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, who spent his career proving that discipline and loyalty can be built, not just born. But after a botched raid ends in the death of a young operator Nico Reyes, Hondo is forced to walk away from the only life he’s known. Until his old commanding officer, Robert Hicks (Patrick St. Esprit), offers him one last shot at redemption: start up a brand-new S.W.A.T. unit, built from LA’s most talented rejects. The result is a squad nobody expected: Sammy Bishop (Lucy Barrett), a gun-show influencer with something to prove; Ethan Cole (Freddy Miyares), a socially awkward tactical savant; Cassidy Reed (Zyra Gorecki), guarded and determined to earn her place; Jude Callan (Ronen Rubinstein), a wildcard with a troubled past; and Malik Anderson (Adain Bradley), sharp, ambitious, and hiding more than anyone realizes. Together, under Hondo’s command, they become the Exiles, a team built to fail, in theory, but determined to prove otherwise. As the squad cuts its teeth on Los Angeles’ most volatile threats, such as cartel assassins, gun-runners, and a city on edge, Hondo starts pulling on a thread that won’t let go: someone inside his own unit has been feeding information to outside interests. What begins as paranoia becomes a slow-motion realization: S.W.A.T. itself is being set up to fail, and someone with real power wants it gone; replaced by something more private, more controllable, and far less accountable. Caught between protecting his team, chasing the truth, and staying one step ahead of the people trying to erase him, Hondo has to decide how far he’s willing to go, and who he can actually trust, as the walls close in. Alliances shift, loyalties are tested, and by the season’s end, Hondo and the Exiles are forced into a final reckoning that will determine not just their careers, but the future of S.W.A.T. itself.
Season two of Marshals premieres October 4 on CBS. Marshals stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton. With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.
Limited series East of Eden premieres October 1 on Netflix. This modern interpretation of Steinbeck’s masterpiece will explore the multigenerational saga of the Trask family, focusing new attention on its indelible antihero, Cathy Ames. Cast includes Christopher Abbott, Mike Faist, Hoon Lee, Tracy Letts, Ciarán Hinds, Martha Plimpton, Joseph Zada, Joe Anders.
Kill Jackie premieres October 2 on AMC+. The adrenaline-fueled, eight-episode series stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and is based on the acclaimed novel The Price You Pay by Nick Harkaway. Jackie Price (Zeta-Jones) has been living a luxurious existence for the last twenty years – travelling the world, selling fine art and, above all, trying to stay anonymous after escaping a dangerous past as an international drug smuggler. But just as life starts to feel a little boring, it takes a sudden lethal turn when she discovers that The Seven Demons, a squad of the world’s most terrifying hitmen, have been hired to kill her. Newlyweds premieres on October 23 on NBC. The series is a later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman, Jeanie (Téa Leoni), and a buttoned-up professor, James (Tim Daly), who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship. The cast also includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Meisel, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Bill O’Neill, and Al Madrigal.
Netflix has ordered unscripted series Playing with Matches. In the upcoming series, a group of undercover couples from all walks of life will compete in the ultimate game of romantic deception. Their goal? Conceal their own relationship while exposing everyone else’s to outlast the competition.
Ludwig will debut a Christmas special this coming festive season featuring all-star cast additions. Season two will debut on BritBox on October 13, with episodes dropping weekly, and season three is now in production. Set in Yorkshire, the 60-minute Christmas episode sees John, Lucy and Henry arrive at a remote Christmas themed hotel for what should have been a much-needed escape, when a sudden blackout turns the festivities into a locked-room murder mystery. Trapped by a blizzard and cut off from the outside world, the guests must spend the night with a killer in their midst. With John reluctantly pulled into one of his strangest puzzles yet, the race is on for the Taylors to solve the crime before Christmas.
Pati Jinich Explores Panamericana will return for a second season October 26 on PBS. The three-part second season continues Jinich’s journey, inspired by the Pan-American Highway. Traveling through Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, Jinich encounters people whose traditions, ambitions and everyday acts of determination reflect the many threads that make up the United States. From ranching communities and Indigenous lands to historic neighborhoods and desert borderlands, the season explores how food, culture and personal connection reveal what unites people across the Americas.
Following a breakout inaugural season, Shaquille O’Neal, Authentic Brands Group (Authentic) and TNT Sports’ DUNKMAN, the world’s first professional dunk league, will officially return in 2027, highlighted by an expanded slate of premium events. The DUNKMAN season will return during the same window next summer. Prior to, the league will stage a series of regional qualifier events, domestically and internationally, giving the next wave of dunkers from around the world the opportunity to earn a place in the professional league. Each qualifier will feature an open-competition format in which aspiring dunkers will compete before an expert judging panel, with standout performers earning the chance to advance to the professional ranks. Planned qualifier events will be announced at a later date. In addition, DUNKMAN will also introduce two new competitive formats.
Primetime special Judge Judy: Unfiltered, Unforgettable premieres Seotember 22 on CBS. Timed to the historic 30th anniversary of Judge Judy, the 90 minute special reveals how the last three decades cemented Judy Sheindlin (aka “Judge Judy”) as one of television’s most iconic personalities. It also includes interviews with some of Hollywood’s biggest stars and entertainment pioneers. Judge Judy tells her remarkable story in her own words, tracing her journey from a spirited childhood in Brooklyn to the New York City Family Court, where she earned a reputation as one of the toughest judges in the country, before redefining daytime television with the most successful courtroom series in syndicated history. Hollywood A-listers including Amy Poehler, RuPaul, Samuel L. Jackson, Sherry Lansing and Steven Spielberg are interviewed, along with Judge Judy’s son, Judge Adam Levy, and other family members, lifelong friends, former colleagues, litigants and people whose lives she touched through the years.
Prime Video and the National Hockey League (NHL) today announced a multi-year agreement establishing Prime Video as an exclusive local streaming home for six NHL teams, beginning with the upcoming 2026-27 season. The deal adds to local NHL coverage already available on Prime Video. The defending Stanley Cup Champion Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild and St. Louis Blues will all be available on Prime Video for fans within each team’s regional territory. The offerings provide in-market fans with an exclusive option to enjoy streams of regular-season games, inclusive of pre- and post-game shows, and additional team programming. Each Club will announce specific details of the streaming packages and subscription options in their respective territory.
Season two of The Sisters Grimm premieres October 2 on Apple TV. Based on Michael Buckley’s book series, the series is a journey of adventure and heart about sleuth-solving sisters descended from the Brothers Grimm who, while very different, make a pretty great team. In season two, one year after their parents’ mysterious disappearance, sisters Sabrina and Daphne Grimm continue uncovering the secrets of Ferryport Landing, where fairy tales and fairy tale creatures are real, as they face new adventures and mysteries.
Netflix announced a partnership with prominent travel creator Drew Binsky to bring a curated collection of his travel content to the service. Beginning September 19, members can watch a curated collection pulled from Drew’s content library, including his latest episode “Entering The World’s Narrowest Island (100 Feet Wide),” with new episodes dropping day-and-date alongside Drew’s channels. Drew Binsky tells stories about the world’s most interesting people, hidden communities, and remarkable cultures. His goal: to inspire people to travel and reveal the beauty of humanity through real human connection.

The Dutch edition of the international dating series where singles search for love without ever seeing each other is hosted by Nicolette van Dam and Bas Smit. 30 single men and women enter the pods in the hope of finding a genuine, lasting connection, without ever seeing the person they’re talking to. They date in individual pods, separated by a thin wall, and have the chance to build an emotional connection before meeting face-to-face. If they feel they’ve found the right person, they can even get engaged before seeing each other for the first time. From there, the couples meet in person and find out whether their connection can survive outside the pods.
