Hulu has renewed Furious for a second season. The first season follows an FBI agent, Alice Black (Emmy Rossum) on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer (Lola Petticrew). Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur. The renewal comes ahead of the first season finale.
Comedy series Youth from Sharon Horgan, premieres September 20 on HBO. The series follows a 50-year-old divorcee’s search for sex and love whilst juggling caring for her ailing parents and parenting her should-be grown up son.
Tyler Perry’s Sistas returns for the second half of its milestone tenth season October 7 on BET. The season continues as the people they’d rather leave behind force their way back in. Meanwhile Henry and Julia Beauchamp, finally reunited after their unexpected journey back in time left them lost and separated, are ready to return back to their time and their daughter, Claire. When their plan goes horribly awry, the couple is parted once again. Separated from his love and hope, Henry must grapple with his mental health, as he fights to find his way back to Julia, who is forced to return to Castle Leathers and contend with her sinister husband, Lord Lovat.
Get Jiro will premiere October 3 on adult swim’s Toonami. Based on the acclaimed graphic novel from Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose published through DC’s iconic Vertigo imprint, the series transports viewers to a post-apocalyptic, near-future Los Angeles where culinary culture reigns supreme and the world’s most powerful figures are chefs. In this society where food is both currency and a demarcation of class, the mysterious sushi chef Jiro (Brian Tee) sets out on a quest for vengeance. The series also stars Titus Welliver, Alison Pill and Justin Kirk.

CBS will debut America’s Tailgate on CBS hosted by Nate Burleson, with co-host Melanie Collins, airing Labor Day, September 7. The brand-new event from Nashville will feature correspondent Whitney Cummings; A-list musical performances in “Music City” from Chase Rice, Gabby Barrett, John Legend and Sheryl Crow; and special appearances by NFL MVP and executive producer Josh Allen and THE NFL TODAY’s Kyle Long and Russell Wilson. The CW will serve as the official broadcast partner for the 13th San Diego County Credit Union (SDCCU) Poinsettia Bowl and the 47th annual Holiday Bowl. The SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl returns to the college football schedule after a decade-long hiatus live on Wednesday, December 23, at 7:30pm ET / 4:30pm PT, with the Holiday Bowl following on Monday, December 28, at 5:00pm ET / 2:00pm PT. Both games will be played at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. The SDCCU Poinsettia Bowl and the Holiday Bowl join the largest offering of college football games in The CW’s history this fall, with 140 hours of live regular season broadcasts across the ACC, Mountain West, and Pac-12 conferences. The season kicks off on Saturday, August 29 at 7:00pm ET / 4:00pm PT with a primetime showdown between New Mexico State and Florida State. The CW will also broadcast the Arizona Bowl for the fourth season in a row. All regular season college football games and the three bowl games will be broadcast live on The CW Network and stream live on the ESPN App for viewers with an ESPN Unlimited subscription plan.
Season two of The Ramparts of Ice premieres October 2 on Netflix. Based on the hit manga by Kocha Agasawa, the series follows Koyuki Hikawa, a high school girl who struggles to connect with others and keeps everyone at a distance. She spends her days quietly, keeping to herself except when she’s with her childhood friend, Miki Azumi. That is, until Minato Amamiya, a surprisingly pushy guy, unexpectedly barges into her life. Unscripted series Love After Lockup: Relationship Rehab will premiere on We TV October 2. The nine-episode series gathers five fan-favorite couples from the Love After Lockup franchise as they embark on a transformative journey with psychiatrist and nationally recognized relationship expert Dr. Ish Major, working to heal old wounds and rebuild their relationships. Throughout the series, the couples will confront the unresolved hurt and ongoing pressures that have shaped their relationships as they participate in a program designed by Dr. Ish specifically for this group. Guided through difficult conversations and emotional breakthroughs, they will be forced to examine what keeps them together, what stands between them and whether their relationships can survive the process. As buried secrets and painful truths emerge, tensions will rise and all five relationships will be pushed to their limits. In the end, Dr. Ish will help them determine whether these relationships can be repaired or if some may be beyond saving.
Docuseries The Program: Texas Tech premieres September 4 on Paramount+. Dennis Quaid will narrate the series.
