CBC’s Workin’ Moms has been renewed for a seventh and final season. The comedy series streams on Netflix in the US. The series examines friendships, demanding careers, motherhood and marriage. The season will air in 2023.

Dana Delany will star in Parmaount+’s upcoming new drama series Tulsa King. The series follows New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, after he is released from prison after 25 years and is unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Okla. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a crew from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another planet. Delany joins Sylvester Stallone, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr, Max Casella, Domenick Lombardozzi, Vincent Piazza, Jay Will, A.C. Peterson and Garrett Hedlund.

Armani Jackson, Bella Shepard, Chloe Rose Robertson, and Tyler Lawrence Gray have been cast in Paramount+’s upcoming series Wolf Pack. The series follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are forever changed when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature. Wounded in the chaos of its attack, the teens are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two others who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them – the bite and blood of a werewolf. The series was originally announced as a spinoff of MTV’s Teen Wolf but the series is now based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom.

Paramount+ has announced that its upcoming new Taylor Sheridan series 1932 will now be called 1923. The Yellowstone origin story stars Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford. The series will account for the end of World War 1 (1918) and the start of Prohibition (1920) both of which will be woven into the story. It will focus on the Dutton family’s next two generations as they struggle to survive historic drought, lawlessness and prohibition, and an epidemic of cattle theft; all battled beneath the cloud of Montana’s great depression, which preceded the nation by almost a decade.

BBC Three has ordered Charlotte In Sunderland starring Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby. The reality series will offer access all areas into the unpredictable dynamic world of entrepreneur and TV personality, Charlotte Crosby showing her as she has never been seen before. The show follows Charlotte as she pursues her personal and professional dreams in her beloved hometown of Sunderland whilst juggling the stresses of running her businesses and preparing for motherhood with boyfriend Jake. Viewers can expect to see the everyday goings-on in Charlotte’s successful empire as a resourceful and self made businesswoman who has amassed a large and loyal young fanbase throughout her years growing up in the limelight.

Mel B is joining Queen of the Universe as a judge in the upcoming second season. The Paramount+ series also features judges Michelle Visage, Vanessa Williams, Trixie Mattell and host Graham Norton who will all be returning for the new season. The series follows the world’s most talented drag queens as they battle it out for global domination, and countries go head-to-head spotlighting their top talent. Each episode will feature the world’s fiercest queens as they debut a new musical performance in front of a live audience and the “Pop Diva Panel” of judges in the hopes of being crowned the “Queen of the Universe.”

Apple TV+ has ordered Criminal Record, a London set crime thriller. The eight episode series stars Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo. An anonymous phone call draws two brilliant detectives into a confrontation over an old murder case, one a young woman in the early stages of her career; the other a well-connected man determined to protect his legacy. The series touches on issues of race, institutional failure, and the quest to find common ground in a polarized Britain.

Ryan Reynolds, Simu Liu, Kim Coates and Mark KcKinney will guest star.
