Who Killed Santa? A Murderville Murder Mystery premieres on Netflix December 15. Senior Detective Terry Seattle is back and this time, the case is critical. Along with his two celebrity guest stars, Jason Bateman and Maya Rudolph, he is on a mission to figure out…who killed Santa? But here’s the catch: Bateman and Rudolph aren’t being given the script. They have no idea what’s about to happen to them. Together, with Terry Seattle (and many surprises), they will have to improvise their way through the case.

Docuseries Branson premieres on HBO December 1. Sixteen days before Richard Branson is scheduled to make a potentially historic flight as the first passenger to reach space in his own spacecraft in July 2021, the billionaire entrepreneur sits down for a conversation with acclaimed filmmaker Chris Smith, in light of the risk that lies ahead. Smith ultimately takes us on an expansive and intimate 70-year journey, from Branson’s upbringing as the son of a spirited, tough-love mother in Britain, to his pursuits of extreme, personal daredevilry that serve both to grow his businesses’ brands and feed his insatiable, lifelong thirst for high-stakes adventure. With added insight from family members, business associates, and journalists, and illustrated by decades of archival and home video footage, the series reveals the ups and downs of a man driven by risk taking in both his business and personal life, reflecting on the costs and rewards of his lifelong, relentless optimism and boundary-pushing. 

Cook at All Costs premieres on Netflix December 16. An addictively fun cooking competition where skill meets strategy as three home cooks put their money where their mouths are to bid on ingredients in a high-stakes, auction-packed cook off. 

HBO has renewed The White Lotus for a third season. The third installment will follow a new group of guests at another White Lotus property. The second installment, set in Sicily, is currently airing with the finale set for December 11. 

Millie Gibson has joined the cast of Doctor Who. She will play the new companion of the Doctor, Ruby Sunday. She will debut alongside the new Doctor played by Ncuti Gatwa in 2023. The new season will air on Disney+ now in the US. 

After handing a straight to series order to Avalon, ABC has passed on the drama series. The crime drama from David E. Kelley starred Neve Campbell. The series will be shopped to other outlets. 

This Is Life With Lisa Ling will be ending with the upcoming ninth season. Budget cuts at the network are to blame. The final season will premiere November 27 on CNN. 

Dr. Pimple Popper rings in the holiday season with the premiere of With Every Cyst-mas Card I Write December 15 on TLC. In this one-hour special filled with more than just holiday cheer, Dr. Lee and her medical assistant, Kristi, are rockin’ around the Christmas tree as they recreate scenes from their favorite holiday movies and make cards for their patients. For some, the first thing on their wish list is the removal of unwanted bumps so they can look forward to the most wonderful time of the year! In between the holiday cheer, Dr. Lee and her staff help patients look their best for the upcoming festivities and bring joy as they help their patients look and feel their best festive selves. 

Shania Twain is set to receive the “Music Icon” award and perform at the 2022 People’s Choice Awards. Twain will take the stage to perform a medley of her greatest hits as well as her new song “Waking Up Dreaming” off her forthcoming sixth album “Queen of Me,” set for release on February 3. Hosted by Kenan Thompson, the ceremony airs live December 6 on NBC and E!

Now Tonight with Joshua Johnson will be ending with tonight’s November 18 episode. Johnson will also be leaving the network. The show has streamed nightly for a year following the end of his MSNBC show The Week with Joshua Johnson. 

Bellator MMA is set to make its network television debut on CBS February 4. The event will be headlined by undisputed Heavyweight World Champion Ryan Bader (30-7, 1 NC) defending his title against MMA legend Fedor Emelianenko (40-6, 1 NC) in a rematch of their 2019 Heavyweight World Grand Prix bout. In the co-main event, a second title will be up for grabs as #4-ranked light heavyweight Yoel “Soldier of God” Romero (15-6) will challenge the winner of tonight’s BELLATOR 288 main event between 205-pound World Champion Vadim Nemkov (15-2, 1 NC) and #1-ranked challenger Corey Anderson (16-5, 1 NC). 

Comedy special Sean Patton: Number One premieres on Peacock December 2. Filmed at New Orleans legendary Tipitina’s, the special takes audiences on a deep dive into the personal experiences that made Sean who he is today. The 90-minute special explores everything from his obsessive-compulsive disorder to his madhouse of an upbringing and the broken, yet unbreakable bonds of his family. 

Season four of Love After Lockup premieres on WE tv December 16. This season four new couples plus two franchise favorites who were JUST released after their stints on Love During Lockup take the drama to the next level with deeper love, bigger doubts, even more mystery, and unique firsts – from first touch and kiss, to moving in together, to meeting the family. As viewers go along for the wild ride of maintaining romance beyond prison walls, they will once again debate if it’s true love or just another convincing con. Season two of Inside the Black Box premieres on Crackle December 1. Anime series Junji Ito Maniac: Japanese Tales of the Macabre premieres January 19 on Netflix. The genius Junji Ito has long been at the forefront of the Japanese horror manga world. Featuring a selection of 20 macabre masterpieces brimming with his original worldview and fascinating characters drawn in his stunning style, including popular titles such as “Hanging Balloon” and fan-favorite characters Tomie and Soichi, this animated series will totally immerse viewers in the maniacal charm of Junji Ito. 

Episodes 25 to 38 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure STONE OCEAN premieres on Netflix December 1. The final chapter and the concluding battle in the century-spanning, intertwining fate of the Joestar family and DIO begins!
