Season two of Sweet Tooth will premiere on Netflix April 27. As a deadly new wave of the Sick bears down, Gus and a band of fellow hybrids are held prisoner by General Abbot and the Last Men. Looking to consolidate power by finding a cure, Abbot uses the children as fodder for the experiments of captive Dr. Aditya Singh, who’s racing to save his infected wife Rani. To protect his friends, Gus agrees to help Dr. Singh, beginning a dark journey into his origins and his mother Birdie’s role in the events leading up to The Great Crumble. Outside the Preserve, Tommy Jepperd and Aimee Eden team up to break the hybrids free, a partnership that will be tested as Jepperd’s secrets come to light. As the revelations of the past threaten the possibility of redemption in the present, Gus and his found family find themselves on a collision course with Abbot and the evil forces that look to wipe them out once and for all.

The new Bachelorette for season twenty of The Bachelorette will be Charity Lawson. The announcement was made during The Bachelor: Women Tell All special. She first appeared on the current 27th season of The Bachelor and was sent home by Zach Shallcross after the hometown dates. The new season of The Bachelorette will premiere this summer. 

Mrs. Davis premieres on Peacock April 20. Betty Gilpin stars alongside Jake McDorman and Andy McQueen as Simone, a nun who goes to battle against an all-powerful Artificial Intelligence known as “Mrs. Davis.” McDorman plays Gilpin’s rebellious ex, who also has a personal vendetta against the Algorithm. 

Following the release of the third and final season of Animaniacs, hulu has announced a collaboration with MasterClass for a series of short videos featuring Pinky and the Brain as the Brain teaches world domination. The videos will be released on hulu’s social media channels beginning March 17. 

Netflix has renewed five Indian series for third seasons. Mismatched, Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives, Delhi Crime, Kota Factory and SHE will all be back for season three. 

Apple TV+ has ordered a new comedy series starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. The ten episode untitled comedy is a heartfelt odd couple love story revolving around the strange and beautiful bond between Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. Matthew and Woody’s friendship is tested when their combined families attempt to live together on Matthew’s ranch in Texas. 

Alex vs. America and Supermarket Stakeout return to Food Network with brand-new seasons this spring. Alex vs. America kicks off its season April 16 with Alex competing against three elite James Beard award-winning chefs, followed by Supermarket Stakeout premiering April 25. In Alex vs. America, Alex Guarnaschelli competes against three culinary superstars at the same time over two rounds. The competitors hail from across the United States but share the same mastery of a culinary genre, one that they have spent endless hours in their own kitchens perfecting and which will be tested in an effort to take down Alex. The chef who wins the first round earns the right to select all the variables for the second culinary challenge, with the remaining chefs’ final plates determining who comes out on top, winning bragging rights and a cash prize. Each episode of Supermarket Stakeout, set in pop-up kitchens outside local supermarkets, begins with host Alex Guarnaschelli giving four contestants $500 apiece – their whole budget to buy ingredients for the three-round cooking competition. After each themed cooking round, the least successful chef is eliminated, leaving two competitors going head-to-head in the final round, vying for a cash prize. 

Prime Video has renewed Citadel for a second season. The renewal comes ahead of the series premiere, set for April 28. The series stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden. 

Judy Greer has been cast in ABC’s comedy pilot Drop Off. She joins Ellie Kemper in the project based on the British series Motherland. 

Jason Ritter has been cast in CBS’s drama pilot Matlock. He joins Kathy Bates, Skye P. Marshall, David Del Rio and Leah Lewis in the remake of the classic series. 

Erika Henningsen, Arturo Castro, Kimrie Lewis, Natasha Lopez and Isaiah Dòdó-Williams have been cast in ABC’s comedy pilot Public Defenders. They join Anthony Anderson as series regulars. 

Ben Daniels has been cast in AMC’s Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire. He will be a series regular in the eight episode second season based on the books by Anne Rice. 

Sarah Shahi has been cast in ABC’s drama pilot Judgement. Shahi currently stars in Netflix’s Sex/Life which recently released its second season. Should the ABC series get picked up, it would be in first position to Sex/Life. 

Jeremy Podeswa is set to direct the pilot episode of Prime Video’s Blade Runner 2099 limited series. The live action series is a followup to the film Blade Runner 2049. It comes following the release of Blade Runner: Black Lotus which aired on adult swim and Crunchyroll last year. 

A Grammy Salute to the Beach Boys will air April 9 on CBS. Beach Boys members Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston are featured guests as a star-studded lineup of contemporary musicians perform their greatest hits in the iconic Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. In addition to the musical performances, the special features appearances by Drew Carey, Tom Hanks, Jimmy Jam, Elton John, Harvey Mason Jr., Bruce Springsteen and John Stamos. This special airs during the year-long celebration of The Beach Boys’ 60th anniversary. 

HGTV has ordered What’s Wrong with That House?, set to premiere in late 2023. The eight episode series stars Joe Mazza and his go-to designer Noel Gatts. Joe will help clients uncover and repair any hidden issues in their homes before they take on their dream renovation. From leaky pipes and cracked foundations to broken boilers and unsafe fireplaces, Joe will figure out what needs to be fixed ASAP. Once the property is in tip-top shape, designer Noel will step in to make it beautiful. She will find creative ways to maximize each family’s budget, giving them functional and stylish spaces. 

Professional dancer Mark Ballas announced he will be exiting Disney+’s Dancing with the Stars. Ballas had competed in 20 seasons, winning the most recent season with Charli D’Amelio as well as two other seasons. The announcement was made during the final stop on the Dancing with the Stars Live 2023 tour. 

The first round of performers have been announced for the 2023 CMT Music Awards. Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, co-host Kelsea Ballerini and Lainey Wilson are the first round of superstars added to the lineup, joining previously announced performers Carrie Underwood and co-host Kane Brown and wife Katelyn Brown. The ceremony airs live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center April 2 on CBS. 

Tone Death: Loss & Hip-Hop will premiere on ABC News Live March 14. The special documents the violence plaguing the rap community in recent years. The deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. in the late ’90s sent shockwaves through the world and marked a turning point in hip-hop and rap music. However, violence in the rap community is becoming commonplace. ABC News correspondent Mona Kosar Abdi reports on where this violence is coming from, why it is so prevalent and how the rap industry can break the cycle. The thirty-minute program features interviews with people who have felt the pain of this violence firsthand, including G. Herbo, a Chicago-raised rapper who shares his own stories and personal experience with PTSD, and Audrey Jackson and Zodiah Freedman, the mothers of slain rappers Pop Smoke and TDott Woo. 

TMZ Investigates: 9/11: The Fifth Plane premieres on Fox March 20. The special investigates what could have been a fifth plane being targeted by hijackers on 9/11, with interviews from the flight attendants, the pilot and others who believe their plane may have become a weapon of mass destruction.
