Prime Video has reversed course on two series which had been renewed for second seasons. The streamer will no longer be moving forward on sci fi series The Peripheral or baseball series A League of Their Own, which was to end with its four episode season. The ongoing strikes are reportedly to blame for the cancellations as they would not be able to film and be released until 2025 allegedly. Sony plans to shop the second season of A League of Their Own as all four episodes have been written prior to the writers strike.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians will premiere on Disney+ December 20 with a two episode premiere. The series tells the fantastical story of a 12-year-old modern demigod, Percy Jackson, who’s just coming to terms with his newfound divine powers when the sky god, Zeus, accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. With help from his friends Grover and Annabeth, Percy must embark on an adventure of a lifetime to find it and restore order to Olympus. The epic series is based on the book series by Rick Riordan.

Disney+’s Star Wars: Ahsoka is now set to stream on Tuesdays beginning at 6 P.M. PT, with the two episode premiere now on August 22. Set after the fall of the Empire, the series follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano, Padawan to Anakin Skywalker, as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

Season two of Surviving Summer premieres on Netflix September 15. A new rival drops in as Summer trains with her friends for the national surfing competition, challenging her on the waves – and for the boy she loves.

The rebooted series follows Babs, Buster, and their new friends Hamton, Plucky, and Sweetie to Acme Looniversity, the premier institution of higher hijinx learning. While enrolled, they form long-lasting friendships with one another and perfect their cartoony craft while studying under the greatest cartoon characters in history, the Looney Tunes.

Untold: Swamp Kings will premiere on Netflix August 22. After a blazing run in the 1990s under Coach Steve Spurrier, the University of Florida’s winning streak had dried up by 2005. Enter Urban Meyer, the Gators’ demanding new head coach whose take-no-prisoners style breeds not only a string of legendary victories, but also unrelenting drama that rippled well beyond the locker room. In their own words through extensive sit-down interviews paired with archival footage, Meyer and the titans he coached (Brandon Siler, Tim Tebow, Brandon Spikes, Major Wright, and Ahmad Black, among many others) give viewers a bird’s-eye view of how they catapulted the Florida Gators from underdogs to winners of two BCS National Championships. Drilling down with a riveting play-by-play of some of the Gators’ most blistering wins and losses, this four-episode docuseries zooms in on each turbulent year of Meyer’s reign and isn’t afraid to tackle the challenging sides of his leadership and the perils of his players being star athletes at such a young age.

Season seven of Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons premieres on Netflix September 15. Journalist and former inmate Raphael Rowe experiences life inside prisons in Finland, the Czech Republic, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands.
