The CW has picked up season two of comedy series Everyone Else Burns. The first season of the British series will premiere October 26. The series follows the Lewises, a strictly religious family who believe the world will end within the decade. Patriarch David longs for the church to promote him. Long-suffering Fiona hungers for a life beyond sermons and squash. Aaron is a model young believer – except his drawings feature the rest of the family burning in hell. And anxious 17-year-old Rachel is about to fall for someone who could save her social life, but also damn her soul. 

Season two of Julia premieres on Max November 16 with the first three episodes. With her trailblazing cooking show up and running on the air, Julia grapples with her rising celebrity and what that means for her, her colleagues and her show. In season two, Julia and her devoted husband Paul return from Simca’s home in France to find that her success has changed everything. Through her singular joie de vivre, she and her team must navigate WGBH, the White House and a threat from their past, while continuing to spearhead female-driven public television and confront social issues still prevalent today. Returning series regulars include Sarah Lancashire, David Hyde Pierce, Bebe Neuwirth, Brittany Bradford, Fran Kranz, Fiona Glascott, and Robert Joy. 

Darkly comedic crime drama Obituary premieres November 21 on hulu. 24-year-old Elvira Clancy is feeling a little unfulfilled, although she adores her new job writing obituaries, but when her newspaper falls on hard times and her boss cuts her salary, she finds herself being paid per obituary overnight. When she “accidentally” kills a nasty piece of work in the town, she discovers she might have a previously untapped bloodlust! She relishes using ever more crafty methods to kill off the town’s unpleasant residents while making them look like accidents. Stalk. Kill. Publish. Repeat. Unfortunately, a wrench lands in the works – the paper hires a suspicious new crime correspondent and she really, really likes him. 

Nothing to See Here (Ojitos de Huevo) premieres November 17 on Netflix. Alexis, a young blind man who dreams of being a successful comedian, moves to the world’s biggest city, accompanied by his best friend and “manager,” Charly, who has cerebral palsy. What could go wrong?

Drag superstar Trixie Mattel is coming to HGTV in Trixie Motel: Drag Me Home. Pushing the envelope during their first year as motel mavens, Trixie Mattel, along with partner and motel co-owner David Silver, will take the leap into home ownership and cohabitation with the purchase of their dream home in Los Angeles, but it will need some revamping to make it fit for a queen. The four episode series will premiere in Summer 2024. 

New English dub episodes of anime series One Piece are available now on Crunchyroll. The newest dubbed episodes are #1013-#1024 from Season 14 Voyage 11. 

Mike Epps improves his Indianapolis hometown in Buying Back the Block, premiering November 8, 9 and 10 on HGTV. Actor, comedian, producer and real estate investor Mike Epps is an Indianapolis native on a mission to revitalize his childhood street. Mike and his wife, television producer and design enthusiast Kyra Epps, who’ve already transformed an abandoned firehouse on the block into their stunning new family home, will continue improving the neighborhood and restoring a sense of community with more property renovations. In the two one-hour episodes, the duo will update each house, adding modern amenities and keeping the original charm, to create affordable and beautiful places for families to buy or rent. Driven by his passionate vision, Mike will be hands-on as he oversees the projects, including the overhaul of his grandmother’s house, alongside his expert construction team. 

Production has begun on the Prime Video series Cometierra based on the novel by Dolores Reyes. The series is a supernatural fiction and magical realism drama that tells the story of Aylín, a girl from the suburbs of Mexico City who acquires the superpower of communicating with the earth, which leads her to solve crimes and face the dark forces of his past. Cometierra, along with her group of misfit friends, will discover her own identity and place in the world, to the rhythm of a neighborhood enveloped in violence and the disappearances of her loved ones. 

PBS will celebrate beloved chef Lidia Bastianich with 25 YEARS WITH LIDIA: A Culinary Jubilee December 18. For 25 years, viewers of Lidia Bastianich’s public television shows have heard her signature saying, “Tutti a tavola a mangiare,” which means, “Everyone to the table to eat!” The special examines Lidia’s rich legacy, from her immigration to America to becoming the authority on authentic Italian cooking. Special guest appearances and interviews in the documentary include Jacques Pepin, Mary Sue Milliken, Elizabeth Falkner, Geoffrey Zakarian, childhood friend Christopher Walken, along with Lidia’s family and other longtime colleagues and associates. It will share some of the most memorable highlights from Lidia’s remarkable journey, along with rare and never-before-seen video and photographs of Lidia’s career. Viewers will follow Lidia to Astoria, Queens, where, as a teen, she made her foray into the food industry, taking an entry-level job at Walken’s Bakery, owned by actor Christopher Walken’s parents. It was also in Queens where Lidia and her husband later opened their first restaurant, Buonavia, to critical acclaim in 1971. 

Guests for the 38th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at Barclays Center have been announced. Announced are Stevie Nicks, Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Common, Ice-T, LL COOL J, Miguel, Queen Latifah. The lineup also includes previously announced Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, Elton John, H.E.R., New Edition, and St. Vincent. The Induction Ceremony will be broadcast live coast to coast on Disney+ from Brooklyn, New York, on November 3 (8:00 p.m. EDT/7:00 p.m. CDT/6:00 p.m. MDT/5:00 p.m. PDT), and will be available to stream following the ceremony. ABC will air a primetime special, 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, featuring performance highlights and standout moments on January 1.

Steeltown Murders premieres November 27 on Acorn TV. Set in two distinct time periods, the series is a fascinating true crime drama that explores a small Welsh community’s grief and a buried truth across four episodes. It’s 2002 in Port Talbot, Wales, and on hearing that the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) are looking to reopen two sexually motivated murder cases from 1973, DCI Paul Bethell jumps at the opportunity to lead the investigation. Following two vividly different timelines, we also revisit the tragic events of ’73 to see both a small Welsh community devastated by grief, and Paul as a junior officer who is adamant not to make the same mistakes that he and the force had made once before. 

Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch premieres November 15 on Discovery Channel. The Ollinger family explore ancient secrets about what lies beneath their land and embark further into the unknown. Stretching across 160 acres of remote and rugged terrain in Northeastern Utah, Blind Frog Ranch is shrouded in legends of ancient civilizations and mysterious phenomena. Duane and Chad Ollinger have spent close to a decade trying to unearth $3 billion in Aztec gold that they believe is hidden in a vast network of underground caverns deep within the ranch. After arriving for the season, they discover that claim jumpers have been illegally digging on the property, attempting to locate and steal the treasure – leading to a tense and volatile confrontation. The threat of poachers only fuels the urgency of the Ollingers’ pursuit for treasure. This season, they bring in cutting-edge quantum technology, as well as new experts, uncovering an enormous cavern system that could house the treasure. They also discover a series of clues, leading them to believe that the Aztecs were not the only ones hiding treasure below Blind Frog Ranch. No one can predict the strange things that surface when they begin the underground search, changing everything they thought they knew about what really lies beneath the ranch.
