ABC has renewed Will Trent for a third season. Based on Karin Slaughter’s “Will Trent” series, Special Agent Will Trent of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) was abandoned at birth and endured a harsh coming-of-age in Atlanta’s overwhelmed foster care system. Now, Will uses his unique point of view in the pursuit of justice and has the highest clearance rate in the GBI. The series stars Ramón Rodríguez as Will Trent, Sonja Sohn as Amanda Wagner, Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski, Iantha Richardson as Faith Mitchell and Jake McLaughlin as Michael Ormewood. 

Dead Boy Detectives premieres April 25 on Netflix. Meet Edwin Payne and Charles Rowland, “the brains” and “the brawn” behind the Dead Boy Detectives agency. Teenagers born decades apart who find each other only in death, Edwin and Charles are best friends and ghosts… who solve mysteries. They will do anything to stick together – including escaping evil witches, Hell and Death herself. With the help of a clairvoyant named Crystal and her friend Niko, they are able to crack some of the mortal realm’s most mystifying paranormal cases. The series is a part of Netflix’s The Sandman Universe.

Hotel Cocaine premieres on MGM+ June 16. The series is the story of Roman Compte, Cuban exile and general manager of the Mutiny Hotel, the glamorous epicenter of the Miami cocaine scene of the late ’70s and early ’80s. The Mutiny Hotel was Casablanca on cocaine; a glitzy nightclub, restaurant, and hotel frequented by Florida businessmen and politicians, international narcos, CIA and FBI agents, models, sports stars, and musicians. At the center of it all was Compte, who was doing his best to keep it all going and fulfill his own American Dream. 

Season six of The Circle premieres April 17 on Netflix. New city. New twists. Same game. Catfish, connections and chaos await as new influencers enter the chat and compete for a huge cash prize. 

The Big Door Prize premieres April 24 on Apple TV+. Based on M.O. Walsh’s novel, “The Big Door Prize” season two follows the residents of Deerfield as the Morpho machine readies them for the mysterious “next stage.” As everyone’s potentials are exchanged for visions, new relationships form and new questions are asked. Dusty and Cass decide to take time apart while Trina and Jacob learn that they can shed their old labels. Giorgio and Izzy each find romance while Hana and Father Reuben attempt to discover the purpose of the machine. The small town is once again left questioning what they thought they knew about their lives, relationships, potentials and about the Morpho itself. 

Season three of From Me to You: Kimi ni Todoke premieres on Netflix this August. What do you do once you’re a couple? Although she struggles with her blossoming feelings, Sawako comes to terms with herself and tells Kazehaya how she feels about him. Attracted by Sawako’s unnoticed efforts and genuine personality, Kazehaya also candidly makes his feelings known. Thus, their new relationship begins. Their first date, their school life together, joy, embarrassment and new struggles – everything is fresh and new as the couple awkwardly and gradually learns more about one another, all while their friends’ love stories begin to take shape as well. This bittersweet and poignant story of young people, woven from their romantic feelings and dear friendships, begins once more. 

Netflix has renewed Love on the Spectrum for a third season. The docu-reality series is an insightful and warm-hearted series following people on the autism spectrum as they navigate the world of dating and relationships. 

Outlander: Blood of My Blood has added more cast. Brian McCardie, Jhon Lumsden, Sara Vickers and Peter Mullan will appear in the Outlander prequel series. The Starz series will explore the lives and relationship of Jamie’s parents, Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser and Claire’s parents, Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp. The series will center on these two parallel love stories set in two different time periods, with Jamie’s parents in the early 18th century Scottish Highlands and Claire’s parents in WWI England.

Alex Cooper will be at the Paris Olympic Games this summer to host Watch with Alex Cooper, a series of live interactive watch parties streaming on Peacock. With her signature style, Cooper, who will be joined by soon-to-be-announced special guests, will regale viewers with her take on some of the most high-profile Team USA events at the Olympic Games Paris 2024, including soccer, gymnastics and basketball. The Watch with Alex Cooper interactive program will feature Cooper and friends live in a seamless picture-in-picture view sharing their thoughts and insights on the Olympic event and answering questions from fans on social in real time – all of which will add to the communal viewing experience and excitement around the Games. 

MultiVersus NHL Face-Off will air on truTV and Max’s B/R Sports Add-On April 7. Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, Batman, Wonder Woman and other iconic Warner Bros. Discovery characters will hit the ice for a real-time animated presentation of Colorado Avalanche at Vegas Golden Knights. Before they take the ice, a special team selection draft of the MultiVersus icons will happen during NHL on TNT’s postgame coverage of the Buffalo Sabres at Detroit Red Wings April 7. 

CMT has added Dasha and Jason Aldean to the star-packed performer lineup for the 2024 CMT Music Awards. Hosted by Kelsea Ballerini, the event will air live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on CBS. 

Michael A. Simon and Scott Kushner are adding a groundbreaking twist to the popular YouTube music reaction video format with Rob Squad and The Creators. Building on the traditional first-reaction format, F Street is taking it to the next level by adding a roster of renowned artists-creators who will interact with Rob Squad hosts Jay and Amber Robinson, sharing their own personal reactions and opinions. The eclectic roster of musicians set  includes Melissa Etheridge, Robert Fripp & Toyah Willcox, Peter Noone, Jane Wiedlin (The Go-Gos), Lisa Loeb, Taylor Dayne, Earl Young (The Trammps), Stuart Wood (Bay City Rollers), Mick Conroy and Robbie Grey (Modern English), Tom Higgenson (Plain White T’s, and Jesse Colin Young (Youngbloods). Set for April 15 launch on YouTube with Etheridge, RSATC will release ten episodes a week, with new segments scheduled on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Kristen Wiig hosts Saturday Night Live April 6. Raye will make her debut as musical guest on the late night NBC series.
