Season two of The Old Man premieres September 12 on FX. Former CIA agent Dan Chase and former FBI Assistant Director Harold Harper set off to recover Emily Chase after she is kidnapped. As the stakes rise and secrets are uncovered, Emily finds herself in an identity crisis with dire implications, and Zoe McDonald makes surprising moves into Chase’s world.

Season two of Squid Game premieres December 26 on Netflix. Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the states and comes back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won. 

Hysteria! premieres October 18 on Peacock. When a beloved varsity quarterback disappears during the “Satanic Panic” of the late 1980s, a struggling high school heavy metal band of outcasts realize they can capitalize on the town’s sudden interest in the occult by building a reputation as a Satanic metal band, until a bizarre series of murders, kidnappings, and reported “supernatural activity” triggers a leather-studded witch hunt that leads directly back to them. 

Love Next Door premieres on Netflix August 17. A woman attempting to reboot her life returns to Korea and becomes entangled with her childhood friend – with whom she shares a complicated history.

John Slattery has joined the cast of the new USA Network drama The Rainmaker. He will play Leo F. Drummond, one of John Grisham’s most iconic characters. Leo F. Drummond is a legendary lion of the courtroom and senior partner at Tinley Britt, the powerful firm that Rudy Baylor is up against. Fresh out of law school, Rudy Baylor goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond as well as his law school girlfriend. Rudy, along with his boss and her disheveled paralegal, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son. 

Jared Padalecki is set to recur in the upcoming third season of CBS’ Fire Country. There is the possibility his character could be spun off into another series, similarly to the recently ordered spinoff Sheriff Country. 

The Bachelor has announced Grant Ellis as the lead for the upcoming 29th season. He appeared on the current season of The Bachelorette airing on ABC. 

Scott Speedman will once again recur on the upcoming season of Grey’s Anatomy. He is set to appear in five episodes. The news comes after Ellen Pompeo was confirmed to appear in the upcoming season in more episodes as well. 

Bill Camp, Merritt Wever, Leslie Uggams, Lisagay Hamilton, Jessica Frances Dukes, Andrea Martin, Hatti Morahan and Paul Alexander Nolan have joined the cast of The Gilded Age. They will all appear in the upcoming third season of the HBO series. 

MTV has moved this year’s VMAs to September 11. The original date on September 10 conflicted with the upcoming presidential debate. The network also announced Camila Cabello, GloRilla, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Rauw Alejandro will perform.

Ahir Shah’s stand-up special Ends will premiere on Netflix September 10. The special was recorded earlier this year at London’s prestigious Royal Court Theatre and features Ahir’s trademark intricately crafted gags and electric performance. It is an optimistic exploration of generational sacrifice spanning themes of immigration, family and politics. 

The CW Network and Gray Media have reached a comprehensive agreement to renew the affiliations of 38 Gray-owned television stations across the country. Together, the 38 stations reach nearly 10% of the U.S. audience, serving more than 12 million television households. 

Billionaire Island premieres on Netflix September 12. The dramedy series is shot at the island of Frøya, Trøndelag, and depicts Norway’s much-talked about and major fish farming industry in a new and humorous way. Trine Wiggen leads the cast as a ruthless owner of a Norwegian fish farming company who plans a hostile takeover of her local rival to become the world’s largest salmon producer.
