Prime Video has ordered its Reacher spinoff starring Maria Sten. The Untitled Neagley Project follows Frances Neagley, a private investigator in Chicago. Sten has appeared in the first two seasons of Reacher. 

The Franchise premieres on HBO October 6. A hopeful crew finds themselves trapped inside the dysfunctional, nonsensical, joyous hellscape of franchise superhero moviemaking. The series stars Himesh Patel as Daniel, Aya Cash as Anita, Jessica Hynes as Steph, Billy Magnussen as Adam, Lolly Adefope as Dag, Darren Goldstein as Pat, and Isaac Powell as Bryson. Recurring guest stars include Richard E. Grant as Peter and Daniel Brühl as Eric. 

Ten episode limited series Before premieres October 25 on Apple TV+. The supernatural mystery series stars Billy Crystal, Judith Light, Jacobi Jupe, Rosie Perez, Maria Dizzia and Ava Lalezarzadeh. The series follows Eli, a child psychiatrist who, after recently losing his wife, Lynn, encounters a troubled young boy, Noah, who seems to have a haunting connection to Eli’s past. As Eli attempts to help Noah, their mysterious bond deepens. 

FX’s American Horror Stories premieres on hulu October 15. The series features a different horror story each episode. This season consists of five episodes. 

Season two of The Devil’s Hour premieres October 18 on Prime Video. The new season sees Lucy and Gideon forming an uneasy alliance in order to prevent a recurring tragedy and hunt down an elusive monster. Lucy’s double life sees her torn between family and duty as she finds herself in the crosshairs of her past-life husband, DI Ravi Dhillon. Assisting Dhillon in his investigation is DS Sam Boyd who was mentored by DI Lucy Chambers in a previous life. Meanwhile, Isaac is discovering new emotions every day and struggling to keep his balance in a reality that rejects his existence. Fresh mysteries unfold as our stories converge on one explosive moment that will change the fate of our characters for the rest of their ever-recurring lives. 

MGM+ has renewed Billy the Kid for a third season. The Lincoln County War may be officially over, but both Billy the Kid and Sheriff Pat Garrett have important issues to resolve – there is a reckoning to come. Billy is still at large, and Garrett is out to capture him, dead or alive. And with a bounty on his head, Billy has the opportunity to quit New Mexico altogether and pursue a future with Dulcinea, the love of his life. But he has unfinished business with Garrett, who has betrayed him, and decides to stay. Meanwhile Jesse Evans, Billy’s longtime friend, rival, and enemy, also remains in Lincoln, searching for a newfound purpose and perhaps atonement for his sins. As the final chapter in the saga comes to a close, Billy will fight like hell to try to finally find the justice that has long eluded him, even if it means he’ll die trying. 

Leighton Meester has joined Apple TV+’s The Buccaneers in the upcoming second season. In the first season, a group of fun-loving young American girls exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s… setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash. Now the Buccaneers are no longer the invaders – England is their home. In fact they’re practically running the place. Nan is the Duchess of Tintagel, the most influential woman in the country. Conchita is Lady Brightlingsea, heroine to a wave of young American heiresses. And Jinny is on every front-page, wanted for the kidnap of her unborn child. All of the girls have been forced to grow up and now have to fight to be heard, as they wrestle with romance, lust, jealousy, births and deaths… themes consuming all women of any age, no matter what year it is. Last time we got a taste of England. This time we’re in for a veritable feast. 

Towards Zero, based on the classic mystery by Agatha Christie is coming soon to BritBox. England, 1936. After a scandalous celebrity divorce, Nevile Strange and his ex-wife Audrey make the unthinkable decision to spend a summer together at Gull’s Point, their childhood home and the coastal estate of Nevile’s aunt, Lady Tressilian. With unfinished business between the former childhood sweethearts, plus the presence of Nevile’s new wife Kay, tensions are running high. Add to this a long-suffering lady’s companion, a mysterious gentleman’s valet, an exiled cousin with a grudge, a venerable family lawyer, an inquisitive orphan and a French con man, and soon there will be murder. A troubled detective must rediscover his purpose to untangle a toxic web of jealousy, deceit and dysfunction. Can he solve the crime before another victim meets their death? An explosive love triangle, a formidable matriarch and a house party of enemies. All compelled… Towards Zero. 

Eleven Max Verstappen documentaries, including Off the Beaten Track and Master of the Track, make their United States debut beginning October 14 on Viaplay. Max’s Machine and F1 Talks premieres October 21. F1 2023: Champion Becoming a Legend premieres October 28. Lion Unleashed, Seasons 1-3 premieres November 18. Near Perfect, Picture Perfect and Anatomy of a Champion premiere November 25. 

Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? premieres October 16 on Prime Video. The twenty episode season, hosted by Travis Kelce, offers a fun, new twist on the premise of the original popular format. Each game will welcome an adult contestant who will rely on a classroom full of celebrities from comedy, screen, and sports to help them answer 11 questions on a range of subjects, pulled from elementary curriculum, in an effort to win a $100,000 prize. Rather than compete against the stars, contestants enlist their help and, in some cases, can even “cheat” off of them. And on the final question, worth $100,000, the contestant selects one celebrity to discuss the answer with before locking in. The final question is always at the 6th-grade level. 

Season two of Blue Lock premieres on Crunchyroll October 5. Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. Three hundred high school players are pitted against each other for the position, but only one will come out on top. Who among them will be the striker to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer? After making it this far, 35 players stand, but now the Blue Lock program itself faces elimination from Japan’s very own U-20 National Team. Vicious rivals will have to team up to defeat the national youth team if any of them want a shot at the striker position. Can they put aside their egos long enough to win together, or will they lose divided?

Citadel: Diana premieres October 10 on Prime Video with all six episodes. Milan, 2030: Eight years ago, the independent global spy agency Citadel was destroyed by the powerful enemy syndicate, Manticore. Since then, Diana Cavalieri, an undercover Citadel agent, is alone, trapped behind enemy lines as a mole in Manticore. When she finally sees a way out and the chance to disappear forever, the only way to do so is trusting the most unexpected ally, Edo Zani, the heir of Manticore Italy and son of the head of the Italian organization, Ettore Zani, who’s vying for leadership against the other European families.
