Shondaland series The Residence premieres on Netflix March 20. The series is a screwball whodunnit set in the upstairs, downstairs, and backstairs of the White House, among the eclectic staff of the world’s most famous mansion. Uzo Aduba stars as Cordelia Cupp, a consulting detective for the Metropolitan Police Department. Known for her wry humor, relentless pursuit of truth, and sharp eye for human behavior, Cupp is the most sought-after detective in the world – and an avid birder to boot. Joining her is Randall Park as Special Agent Edwin Park of the FBI, who is tasked with partnering with Cupp during a high-stakes State Dinner. While Park harbors skepticism about Cupp’s unconventional methods, their dynamic promises to be as intriguing as the mystery they seek to unravel. Fast Friends, hosted by Whitney Cummings, premieres December 19 on Max. Valerie Bertinelli will host Bingo Blitz for Game Show Network. The series is based on the bingo app Bingo Blitz and will premiere in Spring 2025. Two contestants compete in a dynamic blend of trivia and bingo. The ultimate game of knowledge, strategy and luck, contestants answer trivia to earn bingo balls and points. In addition to numbered bingo balls, players also receive gold balls they can strategically place on their cards to increase their chances of making a bingo. Bingos earn the players bonus points, and special ‘power-ups’ on the players’ cards earn them extra points, bingo balls and prizes. After three rounds, the player with the highest score advances to the fast-action Blitz round, where making a bingo in 60 seconds or less awards them $10,000.

Performances from the West Coast Party will include Alanis Morissette, with special guest Reneé Rapp, Dasha, DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live! starring Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick & Doug E. Additionally, Blake Shelton will perform from Las Vegas, Luis Fonsi from his native Puerto Rico, and TLC joins the star-studded Times Square lineup in New York in a performance sponsored by Carnival Cruise Line. The special airs December 31, live on ABC beginning at 8 p.m. EST.

More than 300 dedicated volunteers from across the country will bring the theme to life with an astonishing array of decorations, including more than 165,075 holiday lights, 83 Christmas trees, 28,125 ornaments, 9,810 feet of ribbon and 2,200 doves. It will spotlight the festive holiday displays in each iconic space of the People’s House, from the Gold Star Tree exhibit that honors fallen service members and a stunning collection of bells adorning the East Colonnade to a cascade of peace doves suspended overhead in the Cross Hall and the majestic 18.5-foot-tall official White House Christmas Tree in the Blue Room. As Brian and Mika go from room to room, the couple will get a first look at the 2024 Gingerbread White House, created from an astounding 25 sheets of gingerbread dough, 50 pounds of royal icing and 45 pounds of chocolate, and they’ll help decorate the Diplomatic Room, now open to the public for the first time.
