Women Wearing Shoulder Pads premieres August 17 on adult swim. The stop-motion series follows Marioneta, a proud wealthy Spaniard living in 1980s Quito, Ecuador. There she encounters a diverse group of eccentric and ambitious women navigating the complicated worlds of love, family, and cuys. Featuring an all-woman cast, the series is produced entirely in Spanish with English subtitles.

Season two of Deb’s House premieres August 22 on WE tv. Following the success of its hip-hop focused first season, season two shifts gears to shine a spotlight on R&B, featuring a brand-new group of hand-picked vocalists ready to battle for stardom. This time, Ms. Deb is on the hunt for the next big R&B sensation and only the most gifted, driven and dynamic artists will survive the challenges of Deb’s House. This season, Ms. Deb is joined by three familiar faces who will help her guide and mentor the artists during the competition– her son and rapper Waka Flocka Flame, powerhouse vocalist Keke Wyatt and LeLee Lyons from the legendary female trio SWV will all step in as guest judges throughout the season. Together, they will help shape the future of R&B by sharing their experience, offering real-world advice and helping Ms. Deb decide who has what it takes to make it in the industry, and ultimately win the competition. The artists selected to move into Deb’s House will be put through a diverse variety of challenges, vocal boot camps and will experience the tough reality of competing in a high-stakes music competition. Every week, they’ll face new tasks that test their talent, determination and resilience, and in Deb’s House, there will be no room for shortcuts. In the end, only the best performers will rise to the top and earn the title of Ms. Deb’s next R&B protégé. 

Red Eye premieres July 22 on hulu. A red eye flight from London to Beijing becomes a thrilling journey after Dr. Matthew Nolan (Richard Armitage) is arrested and accused of murdering a woman. Despite protesting his innocence, London Police Officer, DC Hana Li (Jing Lusi), is tasked with escorting Dr. Nolan back to Beijing to face charges – but after an incident occurs on-board, she finds herself embroiled in an escalating conspiracy. 

The English dub of Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse premieres July 16 on Crunchyroll. Narihira Takeru is a delinquent who often thinks about Tsukimiya, the girl who appears in his dreams. After an unexpected accident, Takeru finds himself in a parallel universe, and the world that Tsukimiya lives in. When Takeru and Tsukimiya are slain by a monster, he awakens again and realizes he has leapt through time. Now, Takeru must train with Abe Seimei to fight for Tsukimiya’s life!

The high-stakes competition series Physical: 100 is being adapted for US audiences as Physical 100: USA. In the original Korean series, elite athletes, bodybuilders, and military professionals face off in grueling quests that test raw strength and endurance. Despite its name, as any gym rat knows, this type of tournament isn’t just about the body. The various challenges also require extreme mental toughness and fortitude. Physical: Asia will also premiere later this year. An evolution of the original Korean series, the new season will expand to feature top-tier athletes from across Asia, who must form teams around their countries of origin to compete for national glory. A further European adaptation of the hit Korean show is also underway. 

Nominations for the 77th Emmy Awards have been announced! The ceremony will air live on CBS September 14. 

Netflix will premiere Final Draft, its first Japanese-produced physical survival series, on August 12. The show brings together 25 former athletes – some who had to walk away from their dreams, and others who retired on their own terms – as they compete in grueling physical and psychological challenges for a 30 million yen prize to jump-start a new career. Combining brute strength, strategy, and mental resilience, it pushes participants to their limits in a high-stakes competition for redemption. 

Terry Gannon, NBC Sports’ critically acclaimed Olympic and golf commentator, will join NBC Sports’ NBA coverage as a play-by-play voice when the NBA returns to NBC and debuts on Peacock this fall. NBC and Peacock will present NBA coverage on Tuesday nights beginning in October. After Sunday Night Football coverage concludes in 2026, NBC Sports will launch Sunday Night Basketball across NBC and Peacock. Peacock will also livestream exclusive national Monday night games starting this fall. Gannon will work alongside game analysts such as Reggie Miller, Jamal Crawford, Grant Hill, and others. He joins a play-by-play roster for NBC Sports that already includes Mike Tirico and Noah Eagle. 

Four-part Finnish documentary series Most Wanted: Teen Hacker premieres September 5 on HBO. The series follows the illegal exploits of Finnish hacker Julius Kivimäki (now known as Aleksanteri Kivimäki), who rose to infamy after forcing a U.S. passenger plane to make an emergency landing, shutting down PlayStation globally, and orchestrating several dangerous SWAT attacks – including one targeting the family of an FBI agent. 

The English dub of New Saga premieres July 16 on Crunchyroll. After a brutal war, magic swordsman Kyle defeats the Demon King but is left dying. A crimson crystal sends him four years into the past to his once-destroyed hometown where he finds his lost loved ones alive. Armed with future knowledge, Kyle vows to prevent the coming tragedy and rewrite fate.
