Netflix has picked up The Hunting Wives and renewed it for a second season. The new season will be a continuation of the storyline and characters based on an original script. At the start of Season 2, Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted? 

Ego Nwodim is leaving Saturday Night Live after seven seasons. Nwodim’s exit follows Heidi Gardner, Emil Wakim, Michael Longfellow and Devon Walker who previously departed the NBC late night series. 

The Night Agent star Luciane Buchanan will not be returning for the upcoming third season. From a story perspective, the departure makes sense, with the potential for her to pop up again at a later time in the cards. 

Is It Cake? Halloween premieres October 8 on Netflix. The series returns for a special Halloween season with Mikey Day and nine of the best hyper-realistic cake artists around! These talented new bakers try to trick celebrity judges with their spooktacular realistic cakes as they compete in a do-or-die competition to take home their share of the prize pot and the title of Is It Cake? Docuseries Always, Lady London premieres October 10 on Tubi. International crime thriller Road is coming soon to Netflix. The series follows two detectives as they track a series of gruesome cross-border murders, characterized by twisted bodies and mysterious dying messages. The story begins in Tokyo, when a disfigured body is found with a blood-inked message written in Korean. Soon after, a similar case emerges in Korea, this time written in Japanese. As the pattern continues, the authorities realize they are dealing with a serial killer operating across countries, prompting a joint investigation that takes the detectives from Seoul to Tokyo and beyond. 

ESPN has re-signed anchor Michael Eaves to a new, multi-year contract where he will continue his hosting duties on SportsCenter along with contributing to ESPN’s coverage of golf majors. Since joining in 2015, Eaves is most seen anchoring nighttime editions of SportsCenter from Bristol, CT but has also anchored from the road at the Masters, PGA Championship and other ESPN events. In addition to anchoring SportsCenter, Eaves conducts post-round interviews with players during ESPN’s live coverage of the Masters and the PGA Championship and hosts practice round shows. 

Heweliusz premieres November 5 on Netflix. A disaster on the Baltic Sea, a complicated investigation, and the fight of the victims’ families for the truth and the good name of those lost at sea. The series by Jan Holoubek is inspired by a true story.

ID has set a premiere date for the new series The Friday the 13th Murders and the return of The Real Murders on Elm Street. Both series will premiere back-to-back on October 1. Featuring six new cases that occurred on Elm Streets across the country, The Real Murders on Elm Street will continue to explore real-life murders that prove horror can happen anywhere – even on the quietest street in town. From sadistic killers who strike with ritualistic intent to crimes so shocking they feel pulled right from the pages of a horror movie script, The Friday the 13th Murders unpacks real-life tragedies with sinister connections to the cursed date.
