Episode two of It: Welcome To Derry will debut early on HBO Max in celebration of Halloween, beginning Friday, October 31 at 12:00am PT/3:00am ET. The episode will also air on HBO on Sunday, November 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Subsequent episodes of the eight-episode season will continue to air Sundays on HBO and HBO Max leading up to the season finale on Sunday, December 14. 

Thriller series The Assassin premieres November 20 on AMC+. On an idyllic and beautifully remote Greek island, retired assassin Julie lives a solitary life. A hermit for the last 10 years to escape her dark past, her humble existence is interrupted when her son Edward arrives armed with questions around new information on his paternity. Edward battles to find the right time to speak to his frustratingly distant mother, but she manages to avoid the conversation at all costs. When the moment finally presents itself for Edward to confront her, things take a deadly turn, as Julie’s dangerous past finally catches up with her and they are forced to flee the island and go on the run together, testing their dysfunctional relationship to its limits. 

Little Disasters premieres December 11 on Paramount+. The six-part psychological thriller is adapted from the novel by Sarah Vaughan. It focuses on a decade-long friendship among Jess, Liz, Charlotte and Mel, four expectant mothers who were thrown together with little in common apart from their due dates but have been there for one another throughout motherhood. When perfect stay-at-home mother Jess takes her baby daughter to the hospital with a head injury that she can’t explain, her close friend and on-duty ER doctor Liz must make the excruciating decision of whether to call social services. With one phone call, Liz sets in motion a chain of events that ripples, fractures and nearly destroys not only their families but their entire friendship group. 

The English dub of With You, Our Love Will Make It Through premieres October 28 on Crunchyroll. When high schooler Mari runs late for school, she never expects to fall for Tsunagu—a gentle, sensitive, beastfolk! In a world where beastfolk are segregated behind walls, Mari and Tsunagu show their differences are truly bridges. Can their love overcome the divide between beastfolk and humanity?

Netflix is developing an animated Crash Bandicoot series. The series will be based on the character in the video game franchise. 

Ken Leung has been cast in Peacock’s Superfakes. He will star alongside Lucy Liu in the crime drama series. In the series, a small-time Chinatown luxury counterfeit dealer enters a dangerous black-market underworld in order to fund a life of suburban respectability for her family.

John Dickerson will be leaving CBS news at the end of the year. Dickerson is the co-anchor of CBS Evening News. The departure comes as a shakeup is expected following Skydance’s acquisition of Paramount Global.

Taylor Sheridan will be exiting his deal with Paramount for NBCUniversal. The deal will go into effect in 2029. Sheridan is behind many popular Paramount series including Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, Landman, Lioness, and Tulsa King. 

MSNBC is set to rebrand as MS NOW starting November 15. The rebrand comes as the network is being spun off of Comcast as a new company, Versant. NBC News will operate separately from MS NOW. 

Four part docuseries Caroline Flack: Search for the Truth premieres November 10 on hulu. The series examines the shocking story of Caroline Flack, “Love Island” presenter and one of Britain’s biggest stars. After her arrest in 2019, she became the target of a relentless media storm. Vilified in the press and online, her world spiraled – ending in tragedy when she took her own life. It follows Caroline’s mother, Christine, as she investigates the truth about her daughter’s final months – uncovering new shocking details, asking difficult questions, and exposing the misrepresentations, pressures, and failures from institutions and decision makers that shaped Caroline’s final days. With access to powerful testimony from Caroline’s inner circle and those who were there, the series tells the story she never got to share and reveals an unprecedented look at what really happened to Caroline Flack. 

Thriller series City of Shadows premieres December 12 on Netflix. A macabre crime has taken place at La Pedrera – Casa Milà: a burned body has been discovered on the façade of Gaudí’s iconic building. Inspector Milo Malart, recently suspended from the Mossos d’Esquadra for insubordination, returns to duty in the Catalan capital. Together with Deputy Inspector Rebeca Garrido, he sets out to uncover the culprit behind the crime. 

ESPN has expanded its agreement with Sony’s Beyond Sports, further strengthening its commitment to innovation and the use of state-of-the-art technology to expand its audience. ESPN and Sony’s Beyond Sports, along with Sony’s Hawk-Eye Innovations technology, will continue to produce alternate telecasts going forward. These telecasts will utilize Disney’s extensive portfolio of Intellectual Property to transform live gameplay into real-time animations, a concept first introduced to fans by ESPN in 2023. With this new agreement, ESPN will produce animated telecasts for a NFL, NHL, NBA, and WNBA game across The Walt Disney Company and ESPN platforms during the 2025-26 season. More alternate telecasts are planned for the 2026-27 sports calendar year. 

Love Is Blind: Italy premieres December 1 on Netflix. Hosts Benedetta Parodi and Fabio Caressa are ready to kick off an emotional journey in search of true love, guiding the participants through an experience that will lead them to choose someone to marry without ever meeting in person. 

The National Hockey League and ESPN announced an update to the 2025-26 NHL regular-season schedule. Five national exclusive games have been updated across ESPN, ESPN+, Disney+ and Hulu, beginning December 4 with the Detroit Red Wings and Columbus Blue Jackets (ESPN+, Disney+, Hulu) at 7:30 p.m. ET. Additionally, the previously announced start time for Florida Panthers vs. Colorado Avalanche on December 11 will now begin at 9:30 p.m. on ESPN. 

Last Samurai Standing premieres November 13 on Netflix. In the late 19th century during the Meiji period, 292 warriors, including Shujiro Saga, gather at Tenryuji Temple in Kyoto at nightfall, lured by the promise of a huge cash prize. Each given a wooden tag, they join a vicious game in which they must steal the tags of their fellow participants and reach Tokyo to win the prize money. Under the veil of night, the temple grounds are filled with unease and the presence of bloodthirsy warriors. When the signal is given to begin the game, the combatants launch into their relentless battle for survival. 

Fear Factor: House of Fear premieres January 2026 on Fox. Hosted by Johnny Knoxville, the iconic reality competition Fear Factor is coming back bigger, bolder and more daring. Dropped into an unforgiving, remote location, a group of strangers will live together under one roof, and face mind-blowing stunts, harrowing challenges and a twisted game of social strategy where trust is fleeting – and fear is a weapon. Only one contestant will conquer all their fears and walk away with the massive grand prize! 

Three Idiots in Kenya premieres November 25 on Netflix. Once a far-off promise, now a reality — three buddies finally hit the road in Kenya. Get ready for adventure, banter, and maybe even a giraffe selfie.

Wildlife docuseries Vantara: Sanctuary Stories premieres November 7 on Animal Planet. Hosted by renowned wildlife biologist, conservationist, and adventurer Forrest Galante, the six-episode series will take audiences on a visually stunning journey into Vantara, the world’s largest wildlife rescue and rehabilitation facility that offers lifelong care for some of the most magnificent animals on Earth. Located in Gujarat, India, Vantara is a closed-to-the-public sanctuary designed for the wellbeing of the animals who live there. It is home to over one million animals, representing over 1000 species and is operated by a dedicated team of 25,000 employees. Now, for the first time ever, Galante offers an unprecedented look inside the walls of this extraordinary, not-for-profit sanctuary – a world very few have ever been allowed to enter.

Docuseries The Rocky Mountain Mortician Murder premieres November 26 on ID. In October 2012, Byron Griffy – respected mortician, devoted family man, and pillar of his rural Colorado community – was found dead on his remote ranch, shot execution-style. At first glance, it looked like a robbery gone wrong. But as detectives dug deeper, they discovered something far more twisted: an unthinkable betrayal and a tangled web of lies that exposed the town’s darkest secrets. Over the course of three parts, the series exposes the disturbing truths that can lurk just beneath the surface of seemingly friendly communities. Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks premieres November 17 on Peacock. The three part docuseries celebrates the history and legacy of Universal Destinations & Experiences. Through unprecedented access, rare archival and intimate interviews with directors, producers, executives, and A-list celebrities, the series will explore Universal’s iconic film and theme park history as well as provide an exclusive behind-the-scenes countdown to the opening of its groundbreaking new theme park, Universal Epic Universe.
