Harlan Coben’s next drama series Run Away will premiere on Netflix January 1. The series stars James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver, Alfred Enoch, Lucian Msamati, Jon Pointing, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Annette Badland, Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Ellie de Lange, Adrian Greensmith, Ellie Henry, Ingrid Oliver, Finty Williams, Joe McGann and Amy Gledhill. Simon had the perfect life: loving wife and kids, great job, beautiful home. But then his eldest daughter Paige ran away and everything fell apart. So now when he finds her, vulnerable and strung out on drugs in a city park, he finally has the chance to bring his little girl home. But it turns out she’s not alone and an argument escalates into shocking violence that will shatter Simon’s life all over again. His search for his daughter will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever.

Joe Walsh and Zac Brown will serve as mega mentors on season 28 of NBC’s The Voice. Brown makes his “Voice” debut when he joins coaches Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg. Walsh joins Niall Horan and Reba McEntire to mentor the remaining artists as they prepare for the Knockouts, beginning October 27. Alongside the coaches, Walsh and Brown bring their dynamic artistry and long-standing industry experience to guide the artists into their most powerful performances yet. Each coach enters the Knockouts with eight artists. With no saves or steals in this round, the competition is intense. Coaches alone choose the winner from their team to advance to the Playoffs, the last round before the Live Shows. 

Hulu has ordered its new Prison Break project to series. The new project will take place in the same universe as the original series, but will follow a new group of characters. The pilot cast includes Emily Browning, Drake Rodger, Lukas Gage, Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Georgie Flores, Myles Bullock, Priscilla Delgado, Ray McKinnon, Margo Martindale, Donal Logue, Lili Taylor and Sylvester Powell.

Eric Dane is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of Brilliant Minds. Dane will play a firefighter dealing with ALS, echoing Dane’s real life diagnosis, in episode nine of the NBC series.

Food Network has announced that The Kitchen will celebrate one final holiday season before signing off. The series is co-hosted by culinary favorites Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee Biegel, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian and recurring guest Alex Guarnaschelli. The final episode of The Kitchen will premiere Saturday, December 13th at 11am ET/PT. From its inception in January 2014, the series has been a destination for viewers looking for inspiration and entertainment. Across the seasons its hosts have generated more than 2000 recipes to help those at home get delicious dishes on the table for any meal or occasion. They have shared tips for entertaining and have hosted myriad guests who dropped by to cook up something fun and dish out timely news. Jessica Camacho will recur on the new CBS comedy series DMV. Also set to guest star are Leslie Jones, Zoe Lister-Jones, Chelsea Frei and former WNBA player Renee Montgomery. The series airs Thursdays.

Netflix has ordered family drama series Kennedy. The series is based on Fredrik Logevall’s book, “JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956,” which will explore the triumphs and tragedies of the Kennedy family. The eight episode series reveals the intimate lives, loves, rivalries and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history, and helped create the world we live in today. Beginning in the 1930s, the first season charts the improbable ascent of Joe and Rose Kennedy and their nine children, including rebellious second son Jack, who struggles to escape the shadow of his golden boy older brother. Michael Fassbender will join as Joe Kennedy, Sr. 

Japanese entertainment fans are in for a treat this month as HBO Max launches 12 new titles available to stream. Headlining the slate is Love is for the Dogs – a romance based on the hit webtoon, culinary drama favorite, La Grande Maison Tokyo and gripping dramas Vivant and Ignite, alongside a diverse mix of acclaimed series and specials. From romance and comedy to action and thrillers, this slate showcases the vibrancy of Japanese storytelling. 

Netflix is set to ignite the screen with Sins of Kujo, a live-action adaptation of Shohei Manabe’s best-selling manga “Sins of Kujo”. Premiering worldwide in spring 2026, the series promises a thrilling exploration of law, morality, and the dark underbelly of modern society, led by a powerhouse cast and creative team. 

The Crystal Cuckoo (El cuco de cristal) premieres November 14 on Netflix. Hoping to learn more about her heart donor, a young doctor arrives in a mountain town where decades of mysterious tragedies plague the small community.
