Memory of a Killer premieres January 26 on Fox. Inspired by the book and 2003 Belgian film “De Zaak Alzheimer,” the series is a dramatic thriller starring Patrick Dempsey as a hitman, Angelo Doyle, leading a dangerous double life while hiding an even deadlier personal secret. Michael Imperioli stars opposite Dempsey in the role of Dutch, Angelo’s oldest friend and an accomplished chef whose restaurant is a front for criminal enterprise. The series also stars Richard Harmon as Joe, a hitman; Odeya Rush as Maria, Angelo’s daughter; Daniel David Stewart as Jeff, Maria’s husband; Peter Gadiot as Dave, a local police detective and Gina Torres as Special Agent Linda Grant.
The new season of Love During Lockup premieres this January on WE tv. The prequel to Love After Lockup, the series reveals the fascinating moments that occur when people in the free world look for love and begin relationships with inmates, capturing their journey as they count down the days, weeks, months, or even years until the anticipated release. The captivating docuseries introduces viewers to six people outside of prison and follows them through the early stages of their romance with an inmate (or multiple inmates). Each person has a unique reason for seeking love behind bars. Some are sticking with their love interest throughout their sentence. Some have fallen for a prisoner who they believe was wrongly convicted, while some just chose to find love with an inmate.
Netflix has won Trigger Point in a competitive situation and ordered the hot project straight to series. The eight episode series starring Joel Edgerton is an action crime drama about a group of former Tier One Special Forces Operators who sell their elite skills to the criminal underworld behind the front of a private military contracting firm – and the FBI agent who’s hunting for them.
Netflix’s Too Much will not return for a second season. The series from Lena Dunham starred Meg Stalter and Will Sharpe and was inspired by Dunham’s romance with her husband.
Three animated Netflix series have been canceled. Exploding Kittens, Twilight of the Gods and Good Times will not return for second seasons.
