Peacock has renewed Twisted Metal for a third season. A motormouthed outsider with no memory of his past gets a chance at a better life if he can deliver a package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives season three reunion special premieres December 4 on hulu. ‘Tis the season for the most dramatic reunion yet! Host Stassi Schroeder reunites #MomTok and #DadTok to explore the shocking scandals, uncover never-before-seen footage, and deck the halls with controversial guests in the Season 3 Reunion.

The second and final season of Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft premieres December 11 on Netflix. Lara races across the globe to uncover ancient African relics before a techno-visionary bent on playing god uses them to unleash worldwide destruction.

Disney’s Hulu’s Family Guy’s Hallmark Channel’s Lifetime’s Familiar Holiday Movie premieres November 28 on hulu. In Family Guy’s take on generic holiday movies, Lois, who works for “Big Pie” travels to a small town in hopes of stealing Peter’s award-winning family secret pie recipe. Lainey Wilson guest voices as a country singer performing an original song in the episode’s opening scene.

Season two of Dance Moms: A New Era premieres December 8 on hulu. After Studio Bleu suddenly closes, Glo scrambles to rebuild as Project X with her daughter Kaeli coaching beside her. Tensions rise when a new mom and dancer join the team, and one mom’s personal struggle has a devastating effect on the studio. 

Production has begun on the second season of Netflix’s Black Doves. New additions to the cast include Ambika Mod playing Laila, an acerbic and anarchic Black Doves agent who is sent to help Helen on a mission. Babou Ceesay plays Mr Conteh, a Black Doves executive with suspicious motivations and Sam Riley plays Patrick, an emissary from a mysterious organisation, who offers Sam a lifeline. Neve Campbell also joins the cast as Cecile Mason. Additional casting includes; Sylvia Hoeks playing Katia Chernov, Goran Kostic playing Alexi Chernov and Samuel Barnett playing Jerry. Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire will return for Season 2 alongside Andrew Buchan, Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Agnes O’Casey and Molly Chesworth.

Netflix has ordered historical limited thriller series The Boys from Brazil. Adapted by Peter Morgan and directed by Alex Gabassi, this five-part historical thriller stars Jeremy Strong, August Diehl, Daniel Brühl and Gillian Anderson. The series will also feature Shira Haas and Lizzy Caplan.

Mo’ Waffles premieres December 19 on Tubi. When a hip hop legend vanishes before his waffle joint’s opening, his oddball crew must crack the case, wondering if one of them could be the culprit. 

Heist thriller Steal, starring Sophie Turner, Jacob Fortune-Lloyd, and Archie Madekwe, premieres January 21 on Prime Video. It is a contemporary, high-octane thriller about the heist of the century and the ordinary office worker, Zara, who finds herself at the heart of it. A typical work day at a pension fund investment company, Lochmill Capital, is upended when a gang of violent thieves burst in and force Zara and her best mate Luke to execute their demands. But who would steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions and why? DCI Rhys is determined to find out, but as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys must keep his own money problems at bay while dealing with the secret agendas and competing interests at the center of this far-reaching crime. 

New game show What’s In The Box? premieres December 17 on Netflix. Giant boxes conceal jaw-dropping prizes, wild surprises and unexpected reveals in What’s in the Box?, a high-stakes arching game show that tests smarts, strategy and stamina. Over several episodes, pairs of contestants face off in fast-paced, addictive trivia rounds, racing to correctly guess what’s inside each box. But winning a prize is just the beginning. As the game unfolds, shifting alliances and unexpected twists mean only those with sharp instincts – and a little luck – will hold onto their winnings and claim victory. 

Ren Meguro has joined the cast of FX’s Shōgun with production set to start in January in Vancouver. Meguro is set to star as “Kazutada” in the next chapter of the series, which is set over a decade after the events of the first season. The second season will stream on Hulu

Brand new English dub episodes of One Piece are coming to Crunchyroll November 25. The episodes consist of Egghead Part-2 (eps. 1134-1143). 

The 78th Emmy Awards will be aired live coast-to-coast on NBC and streamed live on Peacock on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live. The date of Emmy Award nominations will be announced in the coming months. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with ceremonies produced by the Television Academy, will take place on Saturday, Sept. 5 and Sunday, Sept. 6.

CNN has begun production on travel series K-Everything. Across four immersive episodes, the series follows Daniel Dae Kim on a quest to discover how South Korea has sparked a global pop culture movement, driving trends in music, food, TV and film, and more. From Busan to Seoul, Kim will trace the roots of Korean culture featuring cameos from some of the biggest names driving South Korea’s creative renaissance.

The Family Film and TV Awards will air December 13 on CBS and Paramount+. The ceremony will be hosted by Julie Chen Moonves. Jeff Probst  will be honored with this year’s Television Icon Award for his lasting cultural impact. Legendary magic and comedy duo Penn & Teller will receive the Outstanding Family Entertainers Award, celebrating 50 years of captivating audiences, and the night will feature special performances by country music superstar Blake Shelton. 

Disney, ESPN and the NBA are teaming up once again to present Dunk the Halls – the second annual real-time, animated NBA game using Sony’s Beyond Sports technology – on Thursday, December 25 at noon ET, when the New York Knicks host the Cleveland Cavaliers. The innovative alternate presentation will be available on ESPN2, Disney+, Disney Channel, Disney XD and the new ESPN App via ESPN DTC or pay TV authentication, with the traditional telecast available on ABC, ESPN, Disney+ and the ESPN App. The virtual, live re-creation of the Cavaliers vs. Knicks game will once again unfold on “Main Street, U.S.A.” in Magic Kingdom(R) Park at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale will return to cheer from the sidelines – joined for the first time by Stitch, who makes his Dunk the Halls debut as this year’s breakout star. From his playful antics on the sidelines to leading the new halftime Christmas Parade, the mischievous alien’s energy will drive the fun throughout the broadcast. Shots of “Main Street, U.S.A.” and iconic landmarks like Cinderella’s Castle will appear throughout, transformed with festive décor, snowfall and a few Stitch-inspired surprises. Mickey’s Christmas wish to Santa Claus once again brings the NBA to Magic Kingdom(R) for a magical, animated matchup – and this year, the troublemaker Stitch’s arrival turns the celebration upside down. His unpredictable holiday cheer and out-of-this-world energy make for an even more spirited Dunk the Halls adventure.

TNT Sports will present the first-ever World Sevens Football 7v7 Soccer Tournament in North America, Friday, Dec. 5 through Sunday, Dec. 7, live on TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. Season two of Culinary Class Wars premieres December 16 on Netflix. A fresh wave of “Black Spoon” cooks face the formidable “White Spoon” chefs in this epic culinary showdown. Who will withstand the heat – or flame out?

An all new season of Midsomer Murder premieres December 8 on Acorn TV. This season is one of the wickedest yet with four brand-new feature-length mysteries to crack. From a mudlarking murder to a bowling club killing and a grammar school homicide, DCI Barnaby and DS Winter solve perplexing crimes while also exploring the quirks of their delightfully picturesque yet deadly shire. Fugue State 1986 premieres December 4 on Netflix. In 1986, a brutal massacre committed by a single man shook Colombia. Inspired by those events, the miniseries explores the origins of evil and the thin line between madness and reason.

Your favorite holiday tradition is back! NFL Christmas Gameday returns, Live on Netflix this Christmas, December 25th. Starting at 1 PM ET, the Dallas Cowboys take on their rivals, Washington Commanders, followed by the Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings at 4:30pm ET.
