Heated Rivalry has been renewed for a second season. The Canadian series airs on HBO Max in the US. Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) are two of the biggest stars in Major League Hockey, bound by ambition, rivalry and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understands. What begins as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies evolves into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery. Over the next eight years, the pair chase glory on the ice while struggling to navigate their feelings off it. Hallmark is expanding the universe of When Calls the Heart with the new series Hope Valley: 1874, which begins production next week in Vancouver, BC and will premiere in March 2026 exclusively on Hallmark+. Starring Bethany Joy Lenz, Benjamin Ayres and Jill Hennessy, the eight-episode series takes place in 1874 and explores the early days of the settlement that later becomes Hope Valley. Lenz portrays Rebecca Clarke, who travels from her home city of Chicago to the Western Canadian frontier with her 11-year-old-daughter. But when her wagon breaks down, she has no choice but to accept help from local rancher and confirmed bachelor, Tom Moore. Despite Rebecca’s best intentions to remain unattached, the future she dreams of for her and her daughter along with the people she meets in this fledgling town – including the guarded Tom and tenacious pioneer woman Hattie Quinn – ultimately compel her to put down roots and make a fresh start. Also starring in the series are Roan Curtis as Hattie’s daughter, Olivia, and Lachlan Quarmby as Constable Alexander Vaughn, one of the first members of the newly created Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Viewers will also meet the adventurous ranchers, gold prospectors and early pioneers who worked together to navigate and embrace the changes of a new era and ultimately build a small, close-knit community in the rugged and hopeful pioneer era.
Apple TV has renewed Down Cemetery Road for a second season. The series is based on author Mick Herron’s novel of the same name from the “Zoë Boehm” book series. Season two reunites Zoë Boehm (Emma Thompson) and Sarah Trafford ( Ruth Wilson) chasing down another twisted mystery. After a woman falls in front of a train, Zoë is called in to investigate, but this seemingly simple case soon upends her life as she and Sarah find themselves navigating the glamorous but ruthless world of black market antiquities. Matters take a deadly turn when they stumble into the path of a brutal serial killer who will stop at nothing to cover up his crimes.
Disney+’s Holes pilot is not moving forward. The project was to be a new adaptation of the book and movie of the same name with a female lead. The project starred Shay Rudolph, Greg Kinnear and Aidy Bryant.
Toonami will air a marathon of Dan Da Dan featuring a sneak peek at season two December 27. Beginning January 3, the night will expand to 4AM and feature Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War kicking off the night, followed by Blue Exorcist, Mashle: Magic and Muscles, One Piece, Dan Da Dan, Dragon Ball DAIMA, Zom 100, and Rick and Morty: The Anime.

Designed for an effortless streaming experience, this feature enables users to seamlessly enter a continuous feed of curated episodes from fan-favorite titles, making it easier than ever to find an episode of their favorite programming. These curated channels will be available on adult profiles across all subscription tiers in the “channels” rail on the homepage, and includes popular marathon-worthy titles from the HBO Max slate such as Friends, Sex and the City and Harry Potter as well as categories such as “True Crime” and “World of Westeros.” Users will enter into the stream at the beginning of the episode playing at the time, and can use playback controls to scrub backwards or forwards into the next queued episode.
