INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY

Ryan and Erica take an unresponsive Emma to the hospital, where she is questioned by Willis. Kendall insists she shot Stuart, so Zach takes matters into his own hands and goes to Adam’s. Standing on the terrace, Zach entices Annie to him, then fires his gun at Adam, who is standing in the parlor. Zach slips away unseen and has made it look like Annie fired the shot at Adam. Annie claims her innocence, but Adam calls the police and has her arrested. Kendall believes she has repressed the memories of Stuart’s murder, but Erica insists she’s innocent. Kendall realizes what Zach has done, and he claims the guilty party will get what they deserve. Jesse and Zach come to an agreement to keep each other’s secrets. Emma confesses to Adam, Annie didn’t shoot Stuart. Zach is frustrated with Kendall as she keeps insisting she killed Stuart. After a visit with Annie, Ryan is beginning to believe she is guilty of shooting Stuart. Kendall confesses to Ryan, Zach is framing Annie for Stuart’s murder. When Annie is questioned by Marissa, she points the finger at Zach. Liza tells Marissa their job is to get Kendall free, and to keep the suspicions on Annie, regardless if she killed Stuart or not. Annie confronts Jesse of being in cahoots with Zach. Natalie’s investigation reveals discrepancies in the case against Annie.

Liza gets Kendall’s trial postponed. Erica insists Kendall drop the idea of confessing to killing Stuart. Jack agrees to take on Annie’s case. Jack accuses Zach of framing Annie. Adam begins to believe Annie is being railroaded and prosecuted without proof. When Ryan begins to feel guilty for pointing fingers at Annie, Erica reminds him they are protecting Kendall and points out all the other crimes Annie has done. Annie asks Aiden to help her prove Zach framed her. Kendall pays Annie a visit. Aiden admits to Zach, he believes Annie killed Stuart and wants her to pay. Natalie shares her theory about the night Adam was shot with Adam and Scott. Jesse is forced to release Annie from jail. Kendall surrenders to Jesse once she learns the trial is back on. JR’s plans to move his son back into the mansion go awry when Annie comes back after being released from jail.

ELSEWHERE IN PINE VALLEY

After taking care of Trevor, Taylor realizes she wants a baby of her own. Angie believes Jesse is hiding something from her. Caring for a colicky baby proves to be overwhelming for Liza. Jake warns Amanda not to visit Trevor so often, David is going to become suspicious. Brot shows up at Taylor’s to tell her about Randi’s miscarriage and finds Tad there with Taylor. Krystal admits to Tad she is unsettled by him seeing Taylor, but she’s happy for him that he’s found someone who makes him happy. Amanda encourages Taylor to go for it with Tad.

Kendall shares a tearful goodbye with her sons. Annie’s wish comes true. Tad and Taylor spin a story to a suspicious Krystal. Natalia accuses Jesse of not being on the up and up. Kendall gets a visit from Stuart’s ghost. Marissa comes to JR’s aid. JR challenges Annie to admit she really doesn’t love Adam. Zach begs the court to leniency for Kendall. Angie shares her suspicions about Jesse with Frankie. Kendall learns her fate. Marissa is the unintended victim of Marion’s quest for revenge. Annie knows what JR’s really upto.
