‘The Originals’ Photo Preview: Flashbacks with a Side of Murder

Thanks to the witches successfully executing a major step in their vendetta against the Mikaelson family, things seem bleaker than ever for Klaus, Rebekah and Elijah after the last episode of The Originals. Klaus is once again suffering the effects of Papa Tunde’s blade, Marcel and Rebekah are on the run and Hayley has taken Celeste captive.

Ramifications from all of that would probably be enough to fill one episode, but “Le Grand Guignol” has even more in store for fans, including a flashback that brings us to that fateful night at the opera where Mikael came to town. We’re definitely excited to have Papa Original gracing our screens once again, even if he does only bring trouble for his children and anyone else who gets in his way.

We also can’t help our curiosity when it comes to what Marcel and Rebekah are doing and we’re guessing that’s Davina in Marcel’s arms. According to The CW’s official episode description, the two ask Thierry (ugh, that guy) to help them with a plan to take down the witches. Let’s hope it works, although, after the way Monique came back to life, we’re a little nervous about Davina’s state of mind, assuming their succeeds.

Hayley is holding Celeste prisoner in the bayou to try and force her to undo the werewolf curse and while that’s happening, Elijah has teamed up with Monique to track down ‘Sabine’. But these pictures of Elijah and Celeste in her original form are very confusing. Is it a hallucination or do they somehow return her to her first body? We can’t wait to find out.
