Nominations for the 45th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were announced live today on CBS’ The Talk. ABC’s General Hospital leads with 26 total nominations, followed by NBC’s Days of our Lives with 25; CBS has the most network nominations with a total of 66.
The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards and The Daytime Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in all fields of daytime television and are presented to individuals and programs broadcast from 2:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during the 2017 calendar year.
Following the broadcast, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) announced the full list of nominees. The awards ceremony will take place on April 29, 2018 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, CA, hosted by Extra’s Mario Lopez and The Talk’s Sheryl Underwood. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will also be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday, April 27, 2018.
