Season two of Syfy’s Resident Alien is set to premiere January 26 along with a new series Astrid & Lilly Save the World, a High School set monster hunter series. The second season of Resident Alien will be split in two halves with the first half finale airing March 16 and part two will air in the summer.
The trailer for Season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race is out and reveals some of the celebrities set to appear on the new season. Judging this season are Lizzo, Alicia Keys, Taraji P. As luck would have it, a mysterious gift from her father gives her a new lease on life: she’s going to “lean into” modernizing his small-town cult.
The CW announced the host and team captains for the upcoming comedy panel series Would I Lie to You? based on the British series of the same name. Aasif Mandvi will serve as host with Matt Walsh and Sabrina Jalees as team captains. HBO’s new drama series about the LA Lakers has been given the title Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. The fast-break series will chronicle the professional and personal lives of the 1980s Los Angeles Lakers, one of sports’ most revered and dominant dynasties, a team that defined an era, both on and off the court. The series will premiere in March.
Reno 911! The Hunt for QAnon is set to premiere on Paramount+ December 23. The series originally aired on Comedy Central, and was then revived for a new season on Quibi before it shut down.
Docuseries Welcome to Wrexham will air on FX in 2022. The series comes from Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and follows the dreams and people of Wrexham, a working-class town in North Wales, UK, as two Hollywood stars take ownership of the town’s historic yet struggling football club. The series has a two season order currently.
