Liam Hemsworth is set to replace Henry Cavill in the role of Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming fourth season of The Witcher. Cavill will portray the character in the third season which is set to premiere in Summer 2023. A four episode prequel spinoff series The Witcher: Blood Origin is set to premiere December 25 on Netflix.
Limited series The Best Man: The Final Chapters will premiere on Peacock December 22. Based upon the eponymous Universal film franchise written and directed by Malcolm D. Lee, the series will catch up with Harper, Robyn, Jordan, Lance, Quentin, Shelby, Candace, and Murch as relationships evolve and past grievances resurface in the unpredictable stages of midlife crisis meets midlife renaissance.
Willow premieres on Disney+ November 30. The series is based on the George Lucas fantasy-adventure film of the same name. The story began when an aspiring sorcerer, played by Warwick Davis, is whisked away on a journey to protect an infant empress Elora Danan and vanquish the evil Queen Bavmorda from their world of Andowyne. Now, the story continues with Davis reprising his titular role, as he leads an unlikely crew of heroes on a quest to protect Andowyne from an even larger foe than they had imagined possible.
Fox’s new drama series Alert premieres January 8, immediately after NFL on FOX. The procedural drama follows the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Person’s Unit (MPU). Each episode features a heart-pounding, life-or-death search for a missing person that runs alongside police officers Jason Grant and his ex-wife Nikki Batista’s series-long quest to find out the truth about their long-lost son.
The CW has canceled DC’s Stargirl. The current third season will serve as the final season and is promised to wrap up ongoing storylines. The series finale will air December 7. The series joins The Flash, Riverdale and Nancy Drew who are also wrapping up their series this season.
Season two of Showtime’s Your Honor will premiere January 13. The ten episode season stars Cranston as Michael Desiato, a respected New Orleans judge whose upstanding life is derailed when his teenage son’s accidental hit-and-run killing of the son of notorious crime boss Jimmy Baxter led to a high-stakes game of lies, deceit and impossible choices. The season was initially scheduled to premiere December 11.
Peacock announced the straight to series order of Friday the 13th expanded prequel series Crystal Lake from A24 and creator Bryan Fuller. Series details are being kept under wraps.
Eight new stars are set to join the cast of the upcoming second season of Severance. Bob Balaban, Robby Benson, Stefano Carannante, Gwendoline Christie, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, John Noble, Alia Shawkat and Merritt Wever will all appear in the new season of the Apple TV+ series. The series follows a team at Lumon Industries, whose employees have undergone a severance procedure, which surgically divides their memories between their work and personal lives. This daring experiment in “work-life balance” is called into question as Mark finds himself at the center of an unraveling mystery that will force him to confront the true nature of his work … and of himself.
Michael Rowland, Grace Palmer, Gerry Dee, Kelli Ogmundson, and Alvina August have joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming comedy Animal Control. They join Joel McHale, Vella Lovell and Ravi Patel in the series which will premiere at midseason.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has been cast as Wonder Man in the Disney+ series Wonder Man. Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery will also appear in the Marvel series.
Cristin Milioti has been cast in HBO Max’s limited series The Penguin. She will play Sofia Falcone alongside Colin Farrell reprising his role as The Penguin from the film The Batman.

Grace Duah has been promoted to series regular on Gossip Girl. Durah previously recurred in the HBO Max series. The new season premieres December 1.

Mark Consuelos has been cast in HBO Max’s The Girls on the Bus. Consuelos will recur as an actor who is running for President.
Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Brittany Adebumola and Hunter Parrish have been cast in the Onyx Collective series The Other Black Girl. All four will appear as series regulars.
Peacock has teamed up with Hallmark Media to stream content. Live programs and on demand content from Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and Hallmark Drama will be available.
Classic CBS series are set to begin streaming on Pluto TV. Over 6,000 episodes will be available by the end of year. Series like Cheers, Frasier, Taxi, Matlock, Touched by an Angel, Star Trek and Beverly Hills 90210 will be available.

First Love premieres on Netflix November 24. A new story has been crafted through inspiration from two songs by Hikaru Utada: the 1999 smash hit and musical gem “First Love,” and “Hatsukoi,” released 19 years later. The story follows a couple retracing their memories of their unforgettable first love over the course of more than 20 years and spanning three decades: the late ’90s, the 2000s, and the present.
