Simone Biles Rising premieres on Netflix July 17. Simone Biles has unfinished business. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she was one of the biggest stories leading into the Games. But in sport, as in life, competitions do not always go as planned. And for Simone, the world had a front row seat as her private struggle with mental health exploded on the international stage – forcing her to withdraw from the competition. Since then, Simone has put in the hard work: facing the difficult traumas of her past, learning to manage her mental health, embracing her journey, and in the process, rebuilding her gymnastics from the ground up. Her courage to soar knows no bounds as this summer she plans to return to the Olympic stage once again to do what she’s always done – be the best Simone that she can be. Because through it all, Simone still rises.

The Green Glove Gang 2 premieres on Netflix July 17. After fleeing to the Bieszczady Mountains, the Green Glove Gang decides to hang up their green gloves. But when Zuza’s son falls into trouble with a notorious gangster, the thieves must emerge from hiding and confront this merciless adversary. Joined by befriended seniors, the crew gets back in the game.

The voice cast for Everybody Still Hates Chris is beginning to take shape. The Everybody Hates Chris animated spinoff series will see original stars Chris Rock, Terry Crews and Tichina Arnold return along with new stars Tim Johnson Jr., Ozioma Akagha, Terrence Little Gardenhigh, and Gunnar Sizemore. The Comedy Central series is set to premiere later in 2024.

Hulu has ordered a comedy pilot titled Mid-Century Modern. Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, and Linda Lavin are set to star in the potential series. The series follows three gay best friends who decide to live together.

Matt Lopez will serve as showrunner and executive producer for Sheriff Country. The CBS series starring Morena Baccarin is a spinoff of Fire Country and will premiere in the 2025-2026 season.

Devin Craig, Ruby Cruz, Michael Provost, and Roby Attal have been cast in Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls. All four will recur in the upcoming third season.

Rahul Kohli has joined Prime Video’s We Were Liars in a recasting. He replaces Arsher Ali who has exited the series due to creative decisions. The series is a tragic love story and an amnesia thriller set on a privately owned island off the coast of Massachusetts.
