Max has canceled Pretty Little Liars: Summer School after two seasons. Following the harrowing events of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, the Pretty Little Liars faced a fate worse than death – summer school. However, Millwood High wasn’t the only thing getting in the way of their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests. A new villain, who may or may not have a connection to A, came to town and put them all to the test. 

Grey’s Anatomy returns for season 21 September 26 on ABC. The medical drama follows the personal and professional lives of the doctors at Seattle’s Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Season two of Found premieres October 3 on NBC. In any given year, more than 600,000 people are reported missing in the U.S. More than half that number are people of color that the country seems to forget about. Public relations specialist Gabi Mosely, who was once herself one of those forgotten ones, and her crisis management team now make sure there is always someone looking out for the forgotten missing people. But unbeknownst to anyone, this everyday hero is hiding a chilling secret of her own. 

Territory premieres October 24 on Netflix. When the world’s largest cattle station is left without a clear successor, generational clashes threaten to tear the Lawson family apart. Sensing this once great dynasty is in decline, the outback’s most powerful factions – rival cattle barons, desert gangsters, Indigenous elders and billionaire miners – move in for the kill. 

A Velma Halloween special is set to air on Max October 3. The special will be titled Velma: This Halloween Needs To Be More Special. Season two aired earlier this year. It stars Mindy Kaling, Glenn Howerton, Sam Richardson, and Constance Wu. 

Crunchyroll  has acquired North American and select international theatrical rights for Solo Leveling -ReAwakening-, a cinematic fan experience that brings together a recap of the first season of the anime sensation Solo Leveling, adapted from the best-selling Korean webtoon, with a special sneak peek of the first two episodes of the highly anticipated second season. The film will be in theaters December 6. Over a decade has passed since a pathway called a “gate” which connects this world and another dimension suddenly appeared, and people with superhuman powers called “hunters” have been awakened. Hunters use their superhuman powers to conquer dungeons inside the gates to make a living, and Sung Jinwoo, a hunter of the lowest rank, is considered the Weakest Hunter of All Mankind. One day, he encounters a double dungeon, a high-level dungeon hidden inside a low-level one. In front of a severely wounded Jinwoo, a mysterious quest window pops up. On the verge of death, Jinwoo decides to take on the quest, which makes him the only person who can level up.

Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment will release Bocchi the Rock! Recap Part 1 & 2 in theaters October 6. It will be released in Japanese with English subtitles. The compilation film follows an introverted, shy girl on her inspirational music journey as she struggles to overcome social barriers and find her place. It tells the story of young rocker Hitori Gotoh, also known as “Bocchi-chan,” a middle schooler struggling with social anxiety. Amid her silence and solitude, she picks up a guitar and discovers that she is talented, but despite spending hours practicing and uploading popular videos of herself performing, her dreams of joining a band and making friends never materialize. The thought of reaching out to strangers makes her nervous, and instead, the awkward Hitori isolates herself even more, accepting her fate of solitude. Until one day, she meets Nijika Ijichi, the drummer for Kessoku Band, who encourages her to change her tune and helps her overcome her deep social anxiety!

The Simpsons short The Most Wonderful Time of The Year will premiere on Disney+ October 11. The short is in addition to the four announced special episodes set to air on the streamer, starting with a Christmas two part episode December 17. 

Voltron: Legendary Defender will likely be departing Netflix this December. The series aired its final season six years ago. Fellow DreamWorks Television series on Netflix previously have left the streamer six years after their final season aired. 

Mark Harmon is set to appear on the upcoming NCIS prequel series NCIS: Origins. The series focus on a young Gibbs and his start at NCIS. The series premieres October 14 on CBS. 

Scamanda premieres October 9 on ABC. Based on the podcast of the same name, the docuseries unravels the story of California native Amanda Riley, a young wife, mother and devout Christian whose life suddenly takes a terrible turn when she is diagnosed with Stage 3 blood cancer. Amanda begins documenting her battle online, captivating thousands, but she has a secret that she is dying to keep. Her story changes from inspiration to suspicion when someone sends an anonymous tip to investigative producer Nancy Mosciatello, who then embarks on a five-year-long investigation into Amanda. Soon, Amanda’s own words may prove to be her downfall. It features new and exclusive interviews, including police and an IRS investigator who covered the case, former friends of Amanda’s, and a neuropsychologist who provides insight into the mind of a scammer; communications between Amanda and podcast host, Charlie Webster; exclusive access to archival assets; materials collected by Moscatiello during her investigation and more. 

The Chosen will be expanding with new projects in the works. An animated series titled The Chosen Adventures and The Chosen In the Wild with Bear Grylls are the first two announced. Also in development are a series about Moses, a series about Joseph, and a followup to the Chosen. 

ESPN continues its WNBA coverage, exclusively carrying the entirety of the 2024 WNBA Playoffs Presented by Google, beginning Sunday, September 22. This year’s postseason will feature the return of both teams from the 2023 WNBA Finals presented by YouTube TV, the two-time defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, and the No. 1 overall seeded New York Liberty, as well as the playoff debut of the Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark. ESPN’s commentator team for the 2024 WNBA Playoffs presented by Google will be led by the main crew of Ryan Ruocco and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers Rebecca Lobo and Holly Rowe, with host Elle Duncan, analysts LaChina Robinson, Carolyn Peck, Andraya Carter and Chiney Ogwumike and other top voices to be featured. 

Crunchyroll is getting back into the New York groove with an anime-filled return to New York Comic Con. Crunchyroll is bringing a supercharged slate of panels celebrating long-running, fan-favorite series and all-new anime coming to Crunchyroll. NYCC is getting a sneak peek at OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom, the upcoming theatrical film and the next chapter in the OVERLORD series. Fans won’t want to miss world-renowned FAIRY TAIL creator Hiro Mashima on the NYCC main stage! Mashima-sensei will discuss FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest—the successor to long-running, fan-favorite series currently streaming on Crunchyroll—alongside his incredible body of work. NYCC will get the first look at the new show ZENSHU. 

Destinations of the Damned premieres October 2 on Discovery Channel. Paranormal investigator Zak Bagans takes viewers to the farthest corners of the globe to explore the world’s eeriest and most cursed locations. In this chilling series, viewers are transported on a mysterious journey where haunts and horrors reign at every destination. These are the world’s darkest and most evil locations. Driven by the macabre history and hair-raising unexplained activity that surrounds each nefarious site, Bagans sends his documentary film crew around the globe to explore what lurks within. Connecting with resident eyewitnesses and paranormal practitioners, the crew navigates local legends, historic mysteries, diverse cultural beliefs and real-life horrors to document claims of hauntings, possessions and curses. What terror inhabits these sites, and condemns the communities that live within them? Bagans narrates as cameras cross into the forbidden and foreboding zones of each deeply troubled location.
