Rebekah’s back and forcing the gang to give up some answers!

Thanks to April’s removal of the dagger, Rebekah is back with a vengeance when The Vampire Diaries returns from its winter hiatus Thursday, January 17 at 8:00 PM on the CW. Determined to get answers, Rebekah forces Stefan, Elena, and Caroline to come together and answer questions about the search for a cure. Things go awry when Elena drops a major piece of information. How will Rebekah react?
Meanwhile, Bonnie’s father has returned to Mystic Falls and accepts the role as Mayor. He makes protecting Bonnie a priority, unaware that his daughter isn’t exactly happy about his newfound presence in her life. Professor Shane continues to work with Bonnie, but later finds himself in danger.
Tyler is reeling from his mother’s death. Can Caroline comfort him after he has a violent confrontation? Jeremy also finds himself amid violence as Damon and Matt try continue training him. Impatient, Klaus intervenes to speed up the process. Is Jeremy in even more trouble now?
