One Life to Live vets Erika Slezak and Kassie Depaiva, along with stars Michael Easton and Ted King have signed on to join Prospect Park’s online version of the soap opera.
Four Stars Sign On, Will It Entice Others?
Fans of One Life to Live got a much needed boost of confidence today from Prospect Park. Deadline.com is reporting that longtime star Erika Slezak (Vicki), Kassie Depaiva (Blair), Michael Easton (John) and Ted King (Tomas) have agreed to be a part of Prospect Park’s online version of One Life to Live!
Prospect Park issued an official statement with much optimism:
“Pending a final agreement with AFTRA [American Federation of Television and Radio], Prospect Park has confirmed that One Life to Live cast members Ted King (Tomas Delgado), Michael Easton (John McBain), Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) and star of stars Erika Slezak who plays Lord family matriarch Victoria Lord, have agreed to deals to join the company’s new production of One Life to Live. This marks the first confirmation of cast members since Prospect Park began planning for the soap production to live on the new online network beyond its finale January televised date on ABC.”
Slezak, a six-time Daytime Emmy winner has been with OLTL since 1971; DePaiva since 1993; Easton since 2003; King since 2011.
The new OLTL is expected to begin production in the first quarter of 2012.
