Cast of Parenthood

The Bravermans have lived to face another day as NBC announced a new, 15-episode season for the critically acclaimed drama.  Last year, NBC ordered additional episodes, and there’s a good chance that could again happen this coming season.

The majority of the cast are expected to return for Season 4, although Jason Ritter has already been cast in another pilot. Ritter has stated he would still return to Parenthood, even if it’s just to tie up dangling storyline threads.  We love Jason Ritter!

30 Rock also received the ok for a 13-episode season, and most agree this, its seventh season, will be its last.

In new series news, the Peacock network has officially picked up two drama pilots:  Infamous, starring Tate Donovan, Victor Garber and Meagan Good. This one sounds like a Revenge wanna-be, where a female detective goes undercover as a maid to the rich family she grew up with, in order to solve the murder of her best friend.

The second drama to get the green light is Do No Harm starring Steven Pasquale and Phylicia Rashad. In this, Pasquale stars as a neurosurgeon with a darker alter ego.

My POV: The news Parenthood will return has made my day, my week, and my month. Long live the Bravermans!
