But now comes word that someone is in final negotiations to appear in the the second episode. It’s not only a big name, its a huge name.

30 Rock big names for some upcoming guest starring roles. "Friend" Jennifer Aniston will appear in the third episode of this season. The Soprano’s Edie Falco, movie star Isabella Rossellini and The View’s Sherri Shepard have appeared as guest stars on 30 Rock. But now comes word that someone is in final negotiations to appear in the the second episode. It’s not only a big name, its a huge name.
Oprah Winfrey. Yeah I am serious, THE Oprah Winfrey.
Word is that she, like Aniston, will be playing herself. Most of her scenes will be opposite Tina Fey’s Liz Lemon and may cause a feud between Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) and Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski). And of course since she is Oprah, her presence will reverberate between the two for several episodes.
It has not been confirmed yet that Oprah will appear. However the second episode has been written and it has her in it. It is scheduled to air Nov 6, but it may change. Executive Producer Tina Fey has expressed interest for Oprah to appear on her show for a very long time. It looks like she may get her wish.
