New ‘One Life’ Role Goes to ‘Guiding Lights’ Crystal Hunt

Emmy nominated actress Crystal Hunt is joining One Life To Live this spring. Hunt is reportedly playing a stripper named Stacey, who is rumored to have ties to a resident of Llanview. Seeing that a recent casting call went out for Talia’s sister, it is possible that Stacey and Talia are related.

This is not Hunt’s first foray into soap operas. In 2003 Hunt joined Guiding Light as Lizzie Spaulding, the daughter of Beth and Phillip Spaulding. Hunt played the role until January 2006. In 2005, she received a Daytime Emmy nomination, losing to All My Children’s Eden Riegel. Hunt appeared on the big screen in 2007’s Universal film Sydney White, where she plays Dinky Hodgekiss, the best friend of Sydney (Amanda Bynes). Hunt has also appeared in From Earth to the Moon, Problem Child 2, The Derby Stallion and most recently finished filming Brooklyn to Manhattan.  The actress is also involved in many charities including CHILDhelp USA which is a program to help abused children.

Expect to see Hunt for years to come (or as long as they keep renewing her contract cycle) as the actress signed a long-term deal with the show. Look for her to first air on February 6th, 2009.
